Please smash us, then we can finally be rid of the terrible duo of coaching that is Jim M and West.

Long in need of change.

Olyy what has happened to Sale?

.
Hope Saints keep Jim and West combo, really really like how they gave King the boot aswell.

Dire stuff from Sale... feels to me like a half-back issue - not entirely sure what they are trying to do.

Looks like Tigers are going for a big impact bench.

Seems like it, all but Cilliers are attack minded players.

Phillips was a waste of money IMO.

Can't see why ford would want to go Sale currently other than the £££££££££££££££

Mind i reckon there is a chance he might still head to France.

I could see why - he'd make a huge difference to that team.
Phillips was always a novelty 9, his basics are poor - a bit like Matawalu.

A couple of good quality tight 5 players (namely a good quality TH lock) a technically strong 9 and 10 and Sale are a pretty good side.

There was absolutely no control exerted by the halfbacks in that game, bizarrely enough, for a game that was dominated by ping-pong; Sale didn't kick enough.
I think they probably made the same number of dinks over the top as they did kicks to the corner.

Sale Forwards (And TBH other than the back row they need to invest every pack position) will never consistently give him a platform though and he isn't a running threat 10 like cips.

Stringer ford would be good but how long has Stringer got.
Philips and Ford is a waste of Ford.

What I found funny was Doyle's suggestion that Macginty just isn't used to the style in the premiership...

It's rugby! Since when do you not kick for territory?!

Taylor, Cobilas and Cipriani losses are being felt massively.
We've needed to recruit in the 2nd row for a few seasons, Kruger would be a welcome addition but turns out he's a ****!
Philips was a poor choice to sign at 9. We've already got a vastly experienced 9 in the last year or two of his career, we don't need another one who also happens to be vastly inferior.

Didn't see the game because I was at work and have no desire to either.
I wouldn't be surprised if Charnley goes back to league at the end of the season, Diamond has been in the press saying contracts mean sweet F A when it's a cross code switch (wrt Solomona) so he should have no qualms with Josh cutting his losses after a season.

First time I've had a chance to see Sale this season, other points have been covered already, but I really thought Ben Curry looked technically excellent. Obviously needs to bulk up but he looked a very intelligent player.

Both Curry brothers have looked excellent so far, going to have big futures ahead of them.

On another note: I don't rate Beaumont's captaincy. I can't think of any other option, though

Don't think the Curry boys really need to bulk up... they're pretty jacked. If anything it's 1-2kg, nothing massive.
Apparently Ben made 22 tackles last week.

Think Charnley's doing it for cash mainly (obviously) - just about to have a kid - so unless this is the quality Sale play at for the rest of the season I can't see that happening.
He looked good though. You've got a good pair of dynamic wingers with him and Paolo.

Really beginning to test squad depth now with multiple injuries/missing players in the same positions.

Raggs is Jack Willis covering hooker? I've liked what I've seen of him as a flanker but he doesn't look like an obvious choice as a hooker ...
