Aviva Premiership 15/16 - Round 1

Nice turnover from LCD.

Hepburn (LCD's U20 mullet-buddy) still has his though, olyy.

Roko having a strong game.

Itoje in trouble for backchat to the ref "I'm the referee, leave me to do my job." - not ideal for a new captain. Is it possible to swap captains mid-game because Kelly Brown seems to be doing the talking to the ref since.

Jesus Christ we're playing ****.

Don't really feel like either side is taking great care of their own ball.

edit: Fair play Ford for that rush on Waldrom.

Slade, not the biggest of players, just ran through the tackles of both Ford and Eastmond, one after the other....

Edit: Sale utterly smashed. Literally nothing went right.

Bit disappointed not to see Brandon O'Connor . Is he injured ?

That Wilson break though :D
Probably the funniest thing all match about the only thing we did right. We look like a team that hadn't trained together in months which is true. Still we were down to 14 men for 20 mins and were playing Banahan @ 13.

Question was it delibrately knock on from Banahan? Did not look it in real time but I couldn't see the big screen so have not had the benefit of seeing a replay. We questioned his ability to delibrately do anything ;)

Wigglesworth was genrally rubbish though to both teams only thing he seamed consistently hot on was holding on.

Ford MOM seamed a little off until I realised no other player stood out.

Aye, it was. He slapped the ball up in the hope he could then regain it, because it was too far away to grasp, but it just went away from him. No attempt to gather it (on the first attempt, anyway).

The Wilson break was a cracker, and also a perfect example of play to the whistle - ref called advantage and the Chiefs player turned round to ask why and Wilson just put his head down and ran straight past him

Yup, Banahan's was as obvious as the sun is hot on camera.

Thought the teams didn't leave Wigglesworth a lot of chance on pinging on holding on - lot of players getting isolated.

Oh the holding on pinging was fine had no issues with it just thought elsewhere Wigglesworth had a poor game. Thought he missed at least

Not sure how Wilson did have any support after his break....probably caught his own team off guard.

I think one thing it reminded in going as it's been a few years since I've been to a match live was how much you get out of replays and listening to the ref. Sometimes stuck in a corner you can barely make out what's happened. I know a ref has a better view for most things but really shows what a difficult job hey have.

As a side note don't think I'll ever be going to Exeter for a match the noise they make is just horribly annoying in stadium (sounds great on TV though) and on the bloody train. Only takes one to make a racket as well.

Odogwu now on the bench for Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smith injured Catchpole starts.

Great to see that after a brilliant preseason.
