Australia vs England (2nd Test) - 09/07/22

So Jack Willis has been replaced by well-known fellow back-rower Will Joseph, yes?

Coz if Jones wanted a 6-2 bench, he'd have a 6-2 bench, yes? He must know what he's doing, yes?

Any word on what's happened to Willis?

Joseph being next in line is a surprise - I would've thought Dingwall or even Furbank would be ahead of him
Exciting player though, hopefully he has the same impact as Arundell

Rib injury for Willis.

Good chance for Joseph, but probably just meant that Eddie won't use the sub

That's a shame for Willis, and more disruption for England, but they have to run with it. EJ can't just keep Joseph's arss on the bench. The game tempo today needs to be high, players from 1 to 15 should be busting a gut, so that bench needs to come on, with time to play, and make impact. With all the changes and debuts I can't see England playing with much fluency, so it's going to be down to individuals to take responsibility, be dynamic and play what's in front of them.

Gutted for Willis. We're not in Tom Rees territory yet, but I'm getting those vibes.

That's what drives people nuts about Jones. If 6-2 was a good idea the other day, why isn't it now? He could have bought Isiekwe in to keep the power up.

As it goes I was worried about our 2 back subs so don't mind 5-3. But I don't get the Joseph selection as others have said.

And when he's not on the pitch all the fans should be asking "Where's Arundell?"
