Australia vs England (2nd Test) - 09/07/22

9 was covering across, there was still an England player between him and Freeman but I think he'd have made it as he was going full speed and Freeman was at a standstill and had 22m to go
Penalty try has to be a definite try not a probable

Listening through Aussie TV. They are raging about this being a deliberate knock on. How do they not understand the rules as professional commentators?
He was never in a position to regather the ball and you simply have to referee in this way otherwise players can always "go for the intercept", knock it on and say oh well I tried..
why is this so hard for professional commentators to grasp?

It's not like this isn't how it's been reffed for years....

If you have an outstretched hand and you just knock it forwards with zero ability to control the ball your getting done for DKO.

So frustrating. Nowell catching that ball at a stand still. No momentum.

That was poor from Nowell, never had the gas to go outside just meant an easier tackle into touch

Why are Sky TV giving out results of other matches during this one? Especially stupid given kick off time on a Saturday and chances people recorded other ones and will watch later.
