AP Final: Northampton Saints V Saracens, SAT 15:00 BST

9 tackles by Chelo Bosch, none failed.

I don't even know why I'm taking the time to say this....
ahem, dude, don't you feel it's really, really kitsch to constantly bring up what a guy who it just so happens is Argentinian has done ? Don't you have any dignity ?? God, nationalism has got to be the most pathetic thing Man has ever created....
Hey, Fernandez Lobbe is playing later on, you want to make your own commentary here ? Like, everything he's done, like, each tackle he makes, what facial expression he's displaying...

Congratulations to the Saints. What a battle tonight. I liked that there were very little handling mistakes all game long, it made for a nice, fluid game. Tries were scored, it was intense...pretty good game, but a little monotonous almost. Like, a lot of what happened repeated. But it's a final, I mean...good game.
Poor Saracens...they were within a possibility of winning both trophies some time ago, now they're going home empty handed...

Didn't see the game because I don't have BT, shame we didn't win anything but I guess I can't be too unhappy with the year. Come back stronger next year and with the signings announced hopefully we don't keep ending up 2nd best :p

Sitting in a train coming back from the Richmond 7s so I've just passed through Twickenham. Some very angry Sarries fans here. Apparently the TMO rules are going to HAVE to be totally revised after this...

Got to watch the game and though it was a bit full tbh. I think Saints deserved it on the day, just.

Owen Farrell looked to have injured himself celebrating the disallowed try, which is both tragic and hilarious in equal measure.

Excellent example for defend myself, because I don't support Toulon, despite having the Pumas captain

;)

PD: 1.900 post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, topping the league and losing the final in the last second, useless team.

I didn't say they were a rubbish team.

In big games, when the opposition turn up they are currently unable to match or better their intensity.

"Flat Track Bully Theory" strikes again.
Bit unfair. Lost to the best team in Europe and by 4 points in the last minute of extra time in the prem final. Beat Northampton, Tigers, Bath, Quins, Ulster, Clermont and lost 4 domestic games all year. Record points, finishing 9 ahead of the team we just lost to, flat track bullies to me is a team like Bath, can beat some smaller sides but when any of the good teams come too town just get rolled over.

You can top a flat track league by being a flat track bully.

Put Sarries in a big match against a team of equal paper strength - of which the Premiership has only 2 atm, Saints and Tigers - and they're probably going away with nothing.

Against the best teams, Sarries look short of the necessary invention to edge a tight mach on an amusingly regular basis. You shouldn't lose home finals.

We do seem to have a lack of invention in our backline, what we need is a creative centre a la Frans Steyn. But we do not so there you go, always next year when we can get too a couple more finals ! Also was the final played at Allianz Park ?

Also was Saints final try a try ? I only ask as i didn't see the game and there seems to be a lot of talk online.

Despite the extra time and the last-second-try, that was probably the worst prem final I've seen.

With Danny at 10?
Unlikely. We had to suffer through Farrell and Myler, at least Danny's interested in scoring a try or two

Yeah you're right. If only Farrell brought it to the line and made breaks?

Oh.... Wait.

Heh! Neither are my teams so I'm not really bothered.

I just dont think it's fair to call that a Boeing game or sarries and saints rubbish.

They both played wife at times... It was just a cracking final.
