To commemorate Twickenham's landmark year, Nike has produced a centenary collection of clothing proudly bearing the iconic rose emblem.

This Centenary Polo Shirt features Nike Special Edition neck labelling, embroidered hem detail 'Centenary Edition 1910-2010' and embroidered England Rose detail.

I shall now start spelling "RFU" as "R£U"

They wearing that or is it for show? They can't do too much worse then the purple...

Looks just like the ones you get from cotton traders for £20
I realise they're both just copys of a classic one, but i mean, why pay the extra £30 for the nike one?

According to wikipedia the first test match in twickenham was against Wales on the 15th Jan, you would've thought the RFU would've pulled some strings to try and get that match played,
But i suppose it's too close to the six nations

It does seem like a money stint for the RFU. If England lose, will they blame it on the shirt?

Nikes traditional rugby shirts have historically been excellent quality (it's just the silly modern ones that are tat), but I agree, whu pay £60 for this:

Especially when Cotton Traders are world renowned to be the best available. Plus it looks better.

It's crazy.[/b]

Madness. The England football shirt is the same, they are glorifed polo shirts with an England Logo on.
