This is just constant shitshow, I get told by Brexiteers to "believe in Britain" and its pretty hard with this shower leading us.

JRM, who has claimed for years that the UK has no real power in the EU has just Tweeted that the UK, if Brexit is extended, could veto multiple things and make it difficult for the EU.

Thought the UK had no power in the EU......

Wow, it's almost like he's a hypocrite who only says things that support his narrow point of view.

That tosser is not even a member of the Government and yet he's talking like he'd be the one calling the shots if the UK stays in the EU for another year.

im now 100% in the second referendum camp
as i said before the question is
1) leave with the parliament deal (when they finally settle on one)
or
2) remain

once results are in then we could enact the result pretty much immediately as all the ground work is done

remaining result would be quite bizarre as we would be anulling a divorce so the £39 billion brexit divorce would sort of be saved

Now there's a surprise:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47833841

The government has not proposed any changes to the PM's Brexit deal during cross-party talks, says shadow Brexit secretary Sir Keir Starmer.
Meetings have been taking place between Tory and Labour politicians to find a proposal to put to the Commons before an emergency EU summit next week.
But Sir Keir said the government was not "countenancing any change" on the wording of the existing plan...

Didn't the EU say that that's the only deal they'll accept?

Or have they relaxed it a little if they can get parliamentary approval of something not drastically dissimilar?

They wont reopen the withdrawal agreement. How life is post withdrawal well this is the best they can offer with red lines. If May is willing to change red lines they've always said changes can be made.

What is May hoping to accomplish in these talks of shoes in willing to move?

I think they would to make it softer and keep Britain closer, definitely not going to open up to anything from the ERG or those wanting a looser relationship with the E.U.

I still go back to a previous point. How can anyone accuse the E.U of being the problem in these negotiations? Our government and politicians have been shown to be utterly incompetent and pathetic by comparison.

Trump when asked about Asylum seekers:
"These aren't people, they're animals."

Jesus wept.

Computer glitch someone programmed the printer to stop on exit day. When the date changed they forgot to change it.

Let's not get het up about passports that's fornthenother side.

Hmm looking at some of the information he posted I think I can finally see a flaw in one of the Brexiteers biggest arguments.

The argument is that we import more from the E.U (58% of imports roughly) than we export to the E.U (44% roughly). Therefore they need us more. However on the governments leaflet before the referendum it says that in terms of E.U exports, Britain only accounts for 8% of their exports. So yes while we import more than we export solely with the E.U, in terms of overall exports we actually export more and so are more reliant on them as tariffs would hit 44% of our exports and only 8% of their exports.

The number of times I banged my head against a brick wall trying to explain this to Brexiteers... They just didn't want to hear it.

Where are all the hard working Brits whose jobs have been stolen?
James claimed locals did not want to work in the fields, saying he only had ten applications this year. Of those, eight were offered jobs but only two turned up and they did not last their first week.

Oh.
