far left nations are always destroyed and collapse who could ever forget romania and how the children starved under that socialist horror show....i notice too the hypocrisy of the eu who preach against trumps tariffs yet threaten UK with the same tariffs lol self serving bullies

Also, the Corbyn 'model society'of Venezuela too.

Very good point about the EU there, it is there for the unelected bureaucrats and their pleasure only. The people who will be affected by their decisions do not matter and can go have intercourse with themselves.

Where do you buy your trampolines that you use to jump to such ridiculous conclusions?

You seem to think the world is some massive conspiracy to only criticise the right wing, but that's just simply not the case.
Even then: I say you're crazy for suggesting only the EDL bunch are getting arrested, and you come out and start calling me a bigot.
Please tell me where I said the left wingers who break the law deserve to get away scot free?
Please tell me where I say we should excuse all wrongful behaviour from the left.
Please tell me where you buy your tin foil for your hats.

Just google "anti-fa arrested" before making such inflammatory, and wrong, statements.

Please tell me why an odious and cretinous berk like you is still breathing oxygen.

1) Where DIDN'T you say that 'I agree that the law should apply for both sides of the extremist divide - that both elements are wrong and need calling out and punishing to the full extent of the law?'

2) Where DIDN'T you say that 'wrongful behaviour from the left is wrong and as bad as the wrongful behaviour of the right?'

3) By choosing not to answer what was said and instead making a pratish comment about tin foil, you excused the wrongful behaviour of the left.

4) There are no tin hats here, precious. If you think that wanting a world without violence, intimidation, threats etc. and both sides of extremism ruining the wonderful society which our ancestors worked so hard to provide for makes me mad then I suggest you take a good look in the mirror and re-evaluate your existence.

I do not think the world is anything of the sort, but I do believe in the balance of fairness and that if you are going to prosecute (for example) a white person for saying 'death to blacks and gays', then you should also prosecute a black person for saying 'death to whites'. Equally, both sentences need to be of the same length and one doubts whether any sentences handed down to Antifa will be of the same magnitude as they will be to the more right-wing elements.

How about googling how The Guardian is calling the violent actions of Antifa 'dissent' and asking whether dissent is a crime? They conveniently ignore the fact that people had to be hospitalised and some have life-changing injuries as a result of their violence. Yes, I would say the same were it right-wing people attacking the left; I loathe violence and believe that there is no place for it in a civilised society, but some people obviously believe in exceptions.

The Guardian, and the left in general, will never accept that they are in any way to blame for their actions.

african americans, women, immigrants and even the disabled all are employed at record high numbers under trump and all have wage growth of over 2.5% on average..the economy is boomi ng the stock market up 40% in 14 months too...meanwhile hes badgered north korea into climbing down too....the left are politics for kids and naive students doing things that dont work like wiping the debts of african despot dictators or throwing 100s of billions at youngsters who choose to breed for benefits etc they pretend to be caring considerate compassionate, the truth is the opposite. under labours rule in some areas, a woman had better chance of getting a boob job on the nhs than some life saving cancer treatment or heart surgery....labours moral compass and moral equivalence was psychopathic and schizophrenic.....they send people to jail for questioning immigration yet no one goes to jail for killing a million innocent iraqis in an illegal invasion based on lies and spin. scum

that article on ebbw vale is biased
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...s-town-showered-eu-cash-votes-leave-ebbw-vale

Sometimes It all makes sense :D Facts are irrelevant in the face of a good shouty argument
drivel. The UK put in £8 billion more into the EU than it got out. But thats peanuts compared to the destruction of SME's thanks to the EU's monstrous burocracy , red tape. licensing fees etc etc They also planned a 7.5% VAT rise across europe , all of which would line their pockets , all unaccounted of course as their accounts were never complete properly in 20 years

Anyone else been following this Ex Russian spy and his daughter getting poisoned by nerve gas? I mean WTF? If it does lead all the back to Putin then this just a brazen FU to the UK (and what are you going to do about it) and warning to any Russian dissident to STFU.

I'd like to know what our options are if Russia don't respond with an answer May wants. There is no doubt what has happened is absolutely shocking

If we we're only part of a greater union of countries, that shares borders with Russia, so our threats and power were more purposeful that anything May could come up with now.

I honestly have no idea what we can Russia is already under UN sanctions, we could boycott the Football World Cup but I imagine that would go down very poorly.

Expel diplomats? Lets be honest our choices are limited and I doubt we'll use military force.

Let's go into the Crimea....

Write Putin a strongly worded letter that this is totally unacceptable and then huff and puff about it. You know the typical British response when we've been wronged by a bigger nation than us.

Seriously though expel a few Russian diplomats, complain to the UN to impose stronger sanctions; the usual that Putin will continue to ignore and push the boundaries of his authority.

You mean like NATO?

You mean like NATO?

Oh absolutely them too, however NATO's purpose is to guarantee the freedom and security of its members through political and military means.

What we are after right now is a unified agreement between counties to punish Russia too. Without going into too much details the EU currently uses what they call a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement which aims to promote trade and investment and develop harmonious economic relations between the EU and Russia. As we are currently part of the EU I would like to think we can use that agreement as a bargaining chip when it comes to trade and sanctions and whatnot..

However, I think as its Russia, they hold all the bargaining chips...

Plus, the EU don't owe us any favors.

Nothing will happen.

Yes - which relies on US military might.
Do you think Trump's got our back against Putin?

And as the White House has only condemned the attack, they refuse to acknowledge Russia or Putin MIGHT be behind the attack.

Does this include the sanctions the EU already has against Russia following the invasion of the Crimea and war in the Ukraine? Yeah that really showed the Russians who was boss...

Sooooooo? The EU did sanctioned Russia over Crimea. They should offer a similar support, or add further sanctions here if the UK government can persuade.

Also, NATO has sanctions against Russia already also. Because of the invastion of Crimea.

Sooooo. We continue them, we make things harder with the support of the EU, with what NATO can help with. The EU hasn't disbanded, so we need whatever support we can get from our European allies.
