Rather than people spouting stuff like electric cars pollute more in their production and destruction than a petrol/diesel car will in its lifetime on the roads I'd like to see some actual peer reviewed evidence that this is the case everything I've ever heard is friend of a friend stuff.

Still there are other factors that just says not to encorage buying new cars to replace the old ones but to gradually replace them as the old ones become unusable.

Whilst the electricity created is done by fossil fuels which is more energy efficient ie which burns the most fuel. This probably thek key factor in which is actually better over everything else and I don't think anyone has a direct answer.




Either way I'm all up for trying to convince people to reduce urban pollution through vheicles it'll be years before it happens. But it will vastly improve the quality of air in those areas and power stations tend to be quite remote.

This also ignoring that internal combustion engine cars are mature technology whilst electric cars are still new. The electricity production can come from alternative sources to fossil fuels and new battery materials could come along to replace Lithium ion batteries.

Really though cars are small fry when it comes to emissions. Widespread animal farming and mechanised agriculture in general, power production, construction and manufacturing are all far worse than cars.

Isn't the idea behind electric cars that advancements in power production for residential/commercial/industrial was moving at a faster rate than those in the automobile industry? Once we get renewable energy sources we can then have cars that are more sustainable.

You chaps are living in the now, the present, and yes there are shortcomings for the electric vehicles at this time, however, think about how much money has been spent on r+d for petro chemical vehicles over the last century? and then start to factor in how much r+d is yet to be lavished upon electric vehicles to make them more... of everything.
Time is on the side of the electric vehicles.
The petrol dinosaurs are on the way out.
Not before time.
We cannot keep polluting our atmosphere.
That is not an option.

I'll be putting loads of the latest solar panels on my north facing roof and I want to charge my vehicles at home using the sun.

Is anyone else as bored of this Trump - Russia business as me?

The American Congress are shooting themselves in the foot, IMO, passing more sanctions on Russia. EU countries are against them and I've read some claim they are against International Law (mainly due to the resources Russia supplies to them).

Trump even claimed the sanctions were unconstitutional.

I'm not a fan of Trump, but was glad he beat Clinton (because the Democrats done over Bernie), however it does really seem that Congress and the majority of the American politicians are trying to push him into a corner on this Russia situation.

So many people have said that Russian / USA relations are worse than they were during the Cold War and you can understand way.

I did laugh however then Russia implemented their own sanction on the USA because they were clearly calculated and thought out, compared to the USA ones.

Other states directly trying influence an election and colluding with those states is against US Law. Trump is on very very shaky ground and they should be invetigating it a Grand Jury is pretty serious business and its only people who want to belive in the crap Trump spouts that don't realise how damn serious this entire fair is.

Ummmm I thought the sanctions against Russia were because it is illegally occupying a part of Ukraine.....say what you like about what the people of Chimera want but the idea Russia was correct in how they went about it is demonstrably wrong. And as for the sanctions on Russia... This one makes me really mad because alot of the pushing around putting these sanctions on Russia was because of their supposed interferance in the election which is complete horse ****.

Also these are signs of a major war coming and you can see every major country in the world knows this you can see it in their actions and murmurings. The japanese were sanctioned like this before the beginning of ww2. These are serious times we live in and the american congress is basically making **** up to frame Russia.

You edited one doesn't give full context and 'MSM' have just cherry picked certain parts that give a general feeling of the tone of the conversation.

So instead of coming it from a approach of being fully informed and able to understand the issues at hand the Australian PM has to explain to him in detail what is actually happening. In turn he got upset actually having to ahve this explained to him because someone wouldn't accept what he was saying as gospel despite the person he was talking to having similar viewpoints to him.
In reality the entire thing make him look more like a dope than just denouncing the deal but saying he has to honour USA international agreements. More importantly it shows his complete failure to understand you can't just railroad sovreign states by being the bigger person like you do business. Trumball isn't beholden to Trump in anyway shape or form and won't just agree with him because he says so. Trump seems put out by this.

I think you know deep down Trump will have the last laugh on this. He was one week into his presidency and I still dont even think this transcript makes him look bad at all. Anybody that voted for him will be voting for him again thats for sure. And even some of those that didnt with half a brain will see through this half baked attempt to tar him.

Its only those on either side that will never change their views that will take anything out of that transcript.

I agree in part Trump will get a similar amount of votes as I think the diehards who will vote Republican will vote that way again I don't think he'll see popularity increase. But he still got 2.9 million less than the Democrat candidate which I think we garuntee will vote that way again when the Democrats chose a comptetent candidate.

The big problem is all the voters who haven't voted the last two elections and plumped for Obama (the first time) whom I don't think Trump will ever get to vote for him. If a Democratic candidate can enthuse that base they should win easially. Trumps approval ratings are poor and only getting worse (https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html) so he's not really winning poeple over at like you assert so a decent candidate SHOULD beat him. But I was wrong in that didn't think he'd win last time so I could be wrong.

I do think he'll serve out his term not due to the Russia thing having no legs (a grand jury would not be convened otherwise) but just because I don't think Trump will resign and I don't think he'll be impeached.



Also you don't go to jail for leaking crap like that, fired definitely jail no that's just not how the world works. Media get their hands on crap like this all the bloody time.

The world leaders you speak of are globalist **** stains and Trump treats them as such. Trump is clearly looking after america and doesnt give a rats about any other countries I think he's balancing it all quite nicely. That why he got elected after all.

Democrats choosing a competent candidate (Tulsi Gabbard is the only one) and Democrats cheating in an election with illegal voters is the only way they will win the popular vote again which is meaningless anyway. If you bothered to look at the electoral map its all red. Once you take out the demorat illegals and the ridiculous amount of money the democrats wasted in the last campaign they've got no chance.

The democrats are flat broke and voters will leave them in droves once they realise what a corrupt bunch of **** stains they've been.

The next rise will be with the centre parties not with the Republicans on Democrats... But it wont have any effect on Trump winning.
