Don't most world leaders? A few don't but the majority do.

He's just sent a warning to the 52 Labour MP's who voted against the Brexit referendum result.
Fair enough.
Argue against it in it's format for the brokering of the deal but those rats should be doing the democratic will of the people.
That is, regardless of how foolish it may be.

Many of them are doing the will of the people. Remember that in many constituencies Remain won the vote - by my spreadsheet, 119 local authority areas. You might know living in london yourself that only 5 london boroughs voted for Brexit and some e.g in the South with a majority of 75%. So, MPs should vote to reflect their constituency. On balance therefore there should be many more MPS voting against Brexit.

I know politics has always been and always will be a dirty business, but its a bit dispiriting to seeing them adopt what's become pretty much open troll language.

I'll believe in Corbyn's demise when I see it because I wouldn't want to get my hopes up and be disappointed. But I'll be happy when it happens. Not that Labour will be going to a better place anytime soon, they're held together by sellotape and most of them have rabies and they've ended up in the most beautiful of no-win situations thanks to a wonderful group effort. Only people left standing for Labour are the residually loyal, the extremely unimaginative, and those who hate the Tories too much to abandon the most likely vehicle of victory. You need a whole lot more than that.

Me like this post. Held together by sellotape and most have rabies. I'll remember that! We need a new coalition of the let, somehow. Personally I found it hard to forgive the Lib Dems for being a mouthpiece for the tory myth that Labour were responsible for the economic crisis. Labour failed even more so to defend themselves, of course, and under Brown and Milliband basically lay down and accepted the tag of "People who screwed the economy". Their failure to fight back on that one really cost them. But I liked the Lib Dems and was massively disappointed that they helped propagate the idea that labour were to blame for something that was global. In so doing they've ensured the hegemony of the right by helping kill labour in the last election. Despite my feelings about that, I think Britain needs a strong 3rd party and would like to see the Liberal Democrats rebuild. Would also love to see the Greens gain popularity.

That would confuse most yanks to be fair

What, that they don't know the difference between Sweden and Pakistan?

TBF - if CNN are pointing out Hong Kong is in Brazil, no wonder they get a little confused.:).

his press conference was hysterical/saddest thing ever

jewish reporter asked a question about increase in anti-semitism and trump told him to sit down and that his question was too complicated

reporter called him out on lying about election results and trump said that it was just the information given to him and he can't be responsible for it

said that the media was responsible for leaking information and not his aides

he claims the sweden thing is correct and he got it from foxnews and just about immigrants

he doesn't get his information from briefings but rather from cable news

Worrying that he gets his information from Foxnews, when he has all the information from security briefings right in front of him. He likes to hear what he wants to hear to fit into what he wants to believe.

And yet, he's not the worst leader in the world...

Don't get me started on our President. Who can't even count!!

Whilst I'd say he's certainly far from the worst leader in the world there are worrysome parts to it.

He has the second largest military.
He has the bomb.
He has the world largest economy.

Lets remember the US housing market essentially caused the global financial crisis and that was with relatively 'competent' people in charge.
No offence but most other countries don't have the power to cause turmoil to anyone other than their own citizens.

Technically China, but I think that doesn't include the ****ing ridiculous size and power of the U.S Navy which is generally better armed than the army.

Yeah China has a bigger standing army but in terms of force Projection (Aircraft Carriers, Ballistic missile subs, IBM's and Airpower) the USA is miles ahead of anyone.

This is clearly going to be a pattern for Trump's press conferences and rallies he holds in the next few years. Say something controversial or make an extravagant claim he can't back up, then blame it on erroneous information he was given or has seen or the media blowing it up out of proportion. Yet, he can't see the contradiction that what he is saying is in his words "fake news" and he is as guilty of spreading it as some of the media outlets.

The Swedish comment is following on from the likes of the one he made about Hilary and the 2nd amendment and that “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the second amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.†He'll make a comment, that most people imply what he means from it like the one before i.e. that 2nd amendment people could assassinate her or "what happened in Sweden last night...." where most people automatically assumed he meant a terrorist attack because he said it in the same sentence as what happened in Germany, France (Paris and Nice). Then get his press secretaries to deny that he meant that and again blame the media for making something out of nothing. He knows his core supporters, as you say, don't give a **** that what he's saying is wrong or lies. He is already playing us and the media and He's clearly doing it on purpose.

But it will become tiresome, if not already. Just hope that his core support tire of it as well, but not holding my breath.

The newsnight video, missed the portion where Evan interviews one of Trump's aides (I can't recall his name but he was British, and I think became US citizen in the last 9 years). I'll see if I can find it and post it up. But he was a real class A Numpty. His tactic of answering difficult questions he could not answer was to laugh at Evan say the BBC like CNN, NYT have an agenda. Hmmm sounds familar.
