Most government officials are unelected, and he does have a security clearance, it was given to him during Biden's administration due to Space X and government contracts. And yes, I do think that someone needs access to and to look into government spending. I am sick of my tax dollars going to nonsensical programs and projects and what is the alternative? Sadly, our politicians, from both sides treat the federal government like a piggy bank for the dumbest things that they want. I don't want my taxes paying for gender studies in Iraqi universities or having USAID paying for abortions in other countries, it should go to things here.

Do you think your average civil servant can simply demand access to all government information with no confirmation or security clearance? Stop being so dense. No, he doesn't have security clearance and the people working for him certainly don't. He has limited clearance related to the industry he worked, not a blanket clearance to access everyone's records.

Last time Trump was in office, he exploded the deficit and this time he demanded the debt ceiling be removed entirely. He is demanding Congress be made powerless. He is ignoring that Congress allocates funding, he is ignoring that the heads of departments are approved by Congress, he is ignoring that the "department" Musk heads has zero oversight and legally doesn't even exist, he is ignoring the law on firing attorney's general and you somehow are happy with all this!?
