Braverman sacked

Now let's hope that she's also cocked up her calculus on how many letters will be sent to the 1922 committee over her sacking.
I'm all for the tories tearing lumps out of each other in public, but the last thing we need is the slightest hope of PM Braverman (or PM Patel for that matter)

Can you imagine if the Tories have 4 PMs in 1 term and then turn around and claim they can offer the decisive leadership the country needs... It's unprecedented the level of instability in the party and any party with a shred of integrity would have called an election by now, but not this shameless shower of shits.

Cameron obviously didn't finish tying up enough dodgy deals before he left and wants a final bite of the pie to enrich himself before the Tories get booted out. The fact nothing was done about his previous corruption shows how far gone this country is. You can't rely on "gentlemens agreements" as a means of holding people to account when said people do not act like gentlemen and abuse the **** out of the system for their own gain.

If the letters get remotely close I imagine Rishi pulls the GE trigger.

My godfather posted this

A PM not elected by his party or his country now has a Foreign Secretary not elected by anybody

Not just that but to claim that a second Brexit referendum was undemocratic while having Tory party members and/or MPs handpick the PM multiple times within a term is absolutely fine.

Cameron's return is a frecking disgrace considering Brexit (the biggest act of economic self harm in my lifetime) happened on his watch and he then tried to get millions of taxpayers money from the Treasury on the sly to bail out his failed Greenshill private investment. He's an incompetent tosser and a corrupt toff rolled into one.

I like how Sunak was trashing Cameron a couple of weeks ago (I think after Cameron spoke up about the HS2 cancellation?) and now he's his big saviour

Mad that these cretins are in charge of the country

Saw a tweet about how Cameron has been championing Chinesr interests recently. That at odds with Sunak and most of the west.

Honestly, it's ridiculous they can just rush a lords appointment like that. Apparently Cameron did it himself before. Tories dismantling British democracy.

He was part of the old consensus and is now the first ex-PM to sit in the Lords since Thatcher and the first unelected holder of a great office of state since 1982

"The Tories now doing an imitation of the final episode of the Apprentice... where they bring back all the useless firees for one last task"

You are right, a member of the cabinet has literally never ever even one been in the lord's. Never happened under any party.

And we directly elect cabinet members too obviously.

I wonder what his speech will be. "having screwed our country up, I plan to extend this to other countries too" 😂

The next attempt

Cleverly isn't exactly someone who would fill you with confidence given his own track record either... It really is rearranging deck chairs on the ***anic now, there are so few front benchers who can point at any sort of successful record they have had or even a prolonged period of competence.
