I've had a feeling since before the 6N that this would be a slippery fixture for France and I'm even more so thinking it now. Italy would have been hoping for two wins this year, with one of them expected to be Wales. Of their last 3 games I actually think this is the one that they'll think they've got a sniff in. They will be competitive against England but I don't see them beating us away from home yet, Ireland is out of range in my opinion - so they'll throw everything at France. Italy shouldn't win, but there are some things in that French side that aren't right in my opinion - bar Dupont and LBB, that's not the best French back division there has been in recent years. The centres are decent, but they're not Fickou and Danty in top form. Ramos is a World-Class full back, at 10 he doesn't convince me. The pack is good, but I think back-row is an area of relative weakness. I also think that, unusually for a France team, it's a bit light on ball carriers. I also don't think they're the fittest either.
I think unless France blow Italy away in the first 20-30 minutes this will be a one-score game. Italy can win this 100%.
