[2024 Six Nations] Scotland vs France - 10/02/24

Fun first half for a neutral...

Scotland getting the rub of the green at the lineout, and the atrocious VDM call...

So with regards to VDM, Nigel Owen's says no high tackle, because the arm only goes over the shoulder and not around the neck... I disagree, seatbelts get penalised all the time.

Nigel Owen's also says VDM IS offside at the ruck, but again I disagree, Beile bierry never creates a ruck, as he doesnt touch a defender, so no ruck formed.

Weird I agree with Martin Johnson and the ref God Owen's!

I agree that it probably wasn't a high tackle. But the reasoning behind the TMO not looking at the offside as a try wasn't scored is absolute rubbish

I mean it isnt, they could check the high tackle for foul play, but the offside they cant check.

But it stopped a try scoring move. Yet a TMO got involved in a knock on last week in the England Italy game which was in the middle of the pitch

Only saw that Duhan try saver there. Think he got away with one (actually two) there

The TMO's are limited to intervene in only 2 scenarios, but I believe any member of the ref team can request a TMO review...

Noone did

so why are France playing in white? I always remembered the home team changing their shirts?

Very interested to see what happens with the lineout in the France vs Italy game seeing as neither side can win their own throw in to save their lives

What was jalibert doing? Hilarious

Hmmm that was knocked on by Scotland in the ruck
