This- have to say I did wonder about Sinfield so soon into a job like this. Wonderful character and a RL legend - but it hasn't been a great start defensively.

Of course it's not just as simple as that, but at some point questions will start to be asked.

We certainly haven't established a platform just yet - at least now we know the gap between us and the top.

Anyone who is a fitness/strength& conditioning expert got some thoughts on the difference between us and France in contact, collision and breakdown?

Someone summed a lot of it up pretty well earlier the Premiership is not of the same standard of other leagues in Europe and probably not currently as physical England bar a few passages were pretty much shell shocked, until the prem sides start challenging at the top of the champions cup I can't see too much changing.

Borthwick took over a horrendous Tigers side...and he targeted the fitness defence and basics. He hasn't really had a chance to do much yet...but I'm sure he'll be hitting those areas hard after this 6n.
