No Launchbury, Sinckler on the bench? The back 3, ******* hell
So 1 to 8 im fine with, id have gone different but experience for Isiekwe and a chance for him to prove he's better than Ewels is good. Id have itoje Lawes Dombrandt Underhill Simmonds but i dont mind what hes done because disrupting that french lineout is a good option.

So the backs...9 to 13 im good, big game so let Randall get some experience closing out the game and upping the tempo so dont mind Youngs starting.

Please tell me Malins is actually injured? Because starting Steward on the wing in a vs Penaud and Villiere is insane and start Furbank why? Malins is a FB...and Furbank is a good prem player, maybe he has got a higher ceiling than Malins i really dont know but why is he there for 1 game.

France are capable of a hot mess at home, but not here. Party time!

France 33 - 9 England

That's it. I've had enough of 'Eddie Jone's England'. Shite to watch, loads of talent but despite being a year and a bit out from a world cup England still have no identity and no hope.

France will have to be garbage and possibly loose players to the bin. Can't believe I'm saying it but I hope they win and handsomely.

I wonder how many of the England forwards over the last few years are faster than the wingers Eddie has picked?

So Marcus, you saw how I used to ask Owen and George to just kick the ball up in the air all day? Well, please could you do exactly the same please, except this time I will make it even harder for the team by not picking anyone really quick on the wing to chase after it. You'll be good though, New England Maaate

I can't wait for the summer tests, Jones will be picking proper wingers again but will start screwing with another selection because he thinks he's smarter than he is. Can't wait for props on the flank, or a back row at SH or something else stupid.

Screw Jones, he's just taken us backwards at every step the last 3 years. I'd rather have martin Johnson or Lancaster back than this chump.

That team selection has just completely drained any enthusiasm that I had for the game. From an England point of view I don't think Saturday is going to be a pretty watch. France by 20+.

That score seems familiar...
It's my new default 'not expecting anything competitive' scoreline. 3 fixtures with the home team being stronger isnt a good recipe for a riveting day of rugby. Instead, I'll be dusting off the sun lounger out and a new book and soaking up the rays as the mercury hits 13 degrees this Saturday. Welcome to Scottish Summertime. :D

I think that sums Jones up perfectly, a man in awe of his own cleverness.

Yes, and Malins is better in the air than Furbank, better tackler and as good as a playmaker.
If you were looking for a playmaking 15, then surely Malins has to be in.
This game could be about experience for players as there is not really anything to play for.
Northmore should have been in to see if he can become an international level player along with many others.

This could be messy Saturday night. Eddies total inability to put consistency in selection, create settled combinations, coupled with a total lack of plan or style of how we want to play, in addition to high player and coaching turnover is about to come home to roost against a wonderful French team.
I absolutely adore our England team, and will support them through thick and thin. However how will the RFU will justify keeping him after this tournament? He has wasted so much time between world cups, really does not get how important the six nations, AIs and every test are for us to win. With him as head coach we are not going to win the world cup, and he clearly does not prioritise the six nations, so where is the harm of getting rid of him now? It certainly is not going to harm our chances.

I just really get my head around dropping Malins for Steward and then bringing in Furbank who hasn't played at all. Like what crazy man logic is that. We need a speed star to accompany Nowell and I've been really unimpressed with Stewards attacking game (not saying it's his fault) but then dropping him onto the wing is madness. Where are actual wingers?

I think Nowell has looked ineffective without those 10kg he's dropped as well as he doesn't seem to have a USP now at all.

Then uni rig on the bench over Simmonds at 8 is madness really. Also what has lauchberry our best real tight head lock done to not be included over a boy who's not shown anything that impressive compared to lauchberry.
