There should be an announcement this morning re AWJ. Trying not to get ahead of myself but sounds like it will be positive news. Whatever you think about him as a player whether it be he's world class or the worst lock in the squad or what have you, on a personal level it's great for him. No player deserves to have a special thing like a lions tour taken away from them and their families but a 4th tour as captain, that's special. Fingers crossed he's all good.

If he lasted 7mins vs 10th ranked then he should last 0.7 mins vs 1st ranked - so about 42seconds

"He thinks we like/rate Johnny Hill"

No, I know you don't particularly rate him. If I wanted to be hyperbolic I would've said Itoje, clearly. I was just stating a fact. 42 seconds of AWJ would contribute more to the tour than Hill even if he played every minute of every game

Yeah its enough time for him at least commit at least one rolling away offence without the ref pinging him.

This is great news. Whatever you think about his ability as a player at the very least most people agree that he drives high standards and has the respect of people he plays with. That and he's our captain I suppose so there is that as well

I wonder if it will be a good thing for Murray. His form hasn't been great and I'm not saying that's down to the extra pressure of being a captain but I don't think taking it away from him will worsen his form.
