Sale Sharks Starting XV:
15. Joe Carpenter, 14. Tom O’Flaherty, 13. Rob du Preez, 12. Rekeiti Ma’asi-White, 11. Alex Wills, 10. George Ford, 9. Raffi Quirke; 1. Bevan Rodd, 2. Luke Cowan-Dickie, 3. James Harper, 4. Ben Bamber, 5. Ernst van Rhyn ©, 6. Jacques Vermeulen, 7. Sam Dugdale, 8. Tom Curry.

Replacements:
16. Nathan Jibulu, 17. Si McIntyre, 18. Patreece Bell, 19. Tom Burrow, 20. Jos Gilmore, 21. Gus Warr, 22. Marius Louw, 23. Gurshwin Wehr.

Prem debuts for Gilmore and Bell off the bench,
Curry at 8 and Dugdale at 7 does me wonder whether that call has come from England
Shame no WGJ - he and SiMac have been scrummaging really well as a duo, and Bell making his debut vs Genge/Lahiff will be tough!

I'm done with predicting Sale games, I just hope it's not an embarrassment

Proper nervous.

Only won 1 in the last 8 v Sale, still haunted by the nilling we got for our last home match v them a year ago. Season defining game in some ways; basically win and keep top 4 or lose and it's uncomfortable but all to play for.

Unavailable: Will Capon, Jake Woolmore, James Dun, Joe Batley, Paddy Pearce, Steven Luatua, Kofi Cripps, AJ MacGinty, Toby Baker, Joe Jenkins, Jack Bates, Gabriel Ibitoye.

I'd obviously love to win this game vs Bath but at the start of this season if you told me we'd be guaranteed to be top 4 mid season id have bitten your hand off after last season.

I think back will win but it won't be a walk over. I'd say to still say we are in the top 4 on merit this season. And even if we lose i won't be unhappy.

If last week's Bath turns up, and shows the same complacency , then Exeter's defence should win out - especially if your attack can to stretch us side to side.
If Bath come out angry and with a point to prove (but controlled), then it ought to be relatively comfortable.

Gloucester (loser bowl, hated this last season as a Chiefs fan and we buckled with pressure, Gloucester have too much on the line to do that. Skivs gone if they lose and Nick Easter in?)

Sale (need to bounce back from the precipice of being a turgid, one-dimensional team with a crackpot of a head coach)

Chiefs (never in doubt, nearly had them last year and we were garbage)

Quins (everyone is laughing at them and their coach essentially told them they weren't fronting up - let's see then)

Sarries (annoyingly, our win against them is still stinging them into solid away performances)

Get yourself a nice new laptop if that comes in.

Fair bit of rotation there from Bath - I hope that's to maximise chances in the Heiney, rather than complacency.
Not what I'd do, but if any coach has earn "in HC we trust", it's JvG
