I'm not following you. Can you clarify the point you're making?Or went to a rugby World Cup final oh wait...
Almost like rugby didn't just begin with the 6N's shocker

Rumour mill saying Biggar is pulling out of the Lions tour to sign a ridiculously lucrative contract with Toulouse
Same deal offered to Lawes as well
(Rumour mill being Fissler and WOL, so take with a very large pinch of salt)
It's not so much the idea he took something positive from it but that the way it is portrayed as how AWJ was such a nice guy for giving him such important life lessons rather than being his usual ******** self and Sinckler learning from it. AWJ did no favour for him, he did not teach him some great lesson or anything, he was a prick and that's it.No, definitely didn't take anything positive away from that game. Learnt nothing. How hilarious.
Well obviously not. Lol. I think perhaps I've been misinterpreted. The idea that AWJ would go into a test match against England thinking "I'm going to help Kyle Sinkler career" is ridiculous. It's not so much the idea he took something positive from it but that the way it is portrayed as how AWJ was such a nice guy for giving him such important life lessons rather than being his usual ******** self and Sinckler learning from it. I think it's more the fact that many in Wales view AWJ as this mountain of rugby brilliance and all round fantastic guy whereas outside Wales he's viewed as a *** who loves to whinge and is a huge windup merchant. It's that massive disparity and apparent Welsh blindness to actually what a bellend he is on the field that leads to such reactions. Few English think Farrell is gods gift to rugby and he gets tons of abuse, many Welsh think AWJ is gods gift to rugby and are then surprised when many outside Wales strongly disagree.Well obviously not. He was clearly targeting him all game as a tactic to help Wales win the game. I'm just saying a consequence of that is that Sinkler really learned from that experience to help him become a better rugby player.
As I said, the hatred and vitriol aimed at AWJ often clouds people's thinking on it.

If anything I'd argue it's the opposite, it's the Welsh fans whose perception of AWJ is clouded, not the rest of the worlds.
I mean it really isn't, WOL is a completely different beast and if you struggle to accept that a perennial whinger and engager in gamesmanship isn't exactly liked outside Wales then I suggest you haven't had enough looking outside of Welsh media. This isn't the sole place I've got rugby opinion from you know?I'm talking about in here though. I have, and neither do you, no idea about how AWJ is perceived globally. I mean, I could post a video where legends all across the game were paying their respects to AWJ when he became most capped international player but what would that prove? I don't think you have any idea about how he is perceived in Wales either tbh, you're just basing it off internet stuff. That's why I'm just focusing on stuff I know and interactions on here which are, imo, comical as the hatred is so strong. It's the English equivalent to the WOL comment section.
Sorry, I can see why you'd think I meant that literally. Naturally I'm talking about sporting hatred.Imagine reading anything any English poster has said about AWJ and construing it as "hatred"
I called him geriatric and frail, and compared him to a 90yr old lol
I think you're just describing here to be honest. When you say outside of Wales you really mean on here or, at best, England. If not I will happily read any data you've got on how AWJ is perceived globally.I mean it really isn't, WOL is a completely different beast and if you struggle to accept that a perennial whinger and engager in gamesmanship isn't exactly liked outside Wales then I suggest you haven't had enough looking outside of Welsh media. You are aware this forum has Scottish and Irish posters right?I think you're just describing here to be honest. When you say outside of Wales you really mean on here or, at best, England. If not I will happily read any data you've got on how AWJ is perceived globally.
There is, for example, a massive difference between how the Irish posters, or few Scottish, post about AWJ compared to the English posters. Tone is hard to gauge on the net but it's pretty telling from a lot of you guys tbh.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. From what I've seen there's a clear difference. Mainly in that one hardly talk about him but the English lads seem to love a good old AWJ bashing. That's cool obviously. Whatever floats your boat. You are aware this forum has Scottish and Irish posters right?
Also if you want to browse, feel free to look at the likes of Green and Gold, various NZ forums etc.
You'll fine plenty of AWJ bashing outside of England but you seem to have got it in your head that only the English engage in this...Yeah, that's what I'm saying. No, as I keep saying. I don't have a clue how he is perceived globally. I'm don't even truly know how's he's perceived in Wales (though I have a better idea) except you seem to think you've got your finger on the pulse with regards to this. I find it quite an extraordinary claim which is why I'd be very interested to see what you're basing this strong view on? There must be a lot of data out there that has you so convinced? Something other than internet sites perhaps? Some surveys have been done, academic papers written on it or is it perhaps, anecdotal evidence you collated over the years. Not a dig, by the way, we all do this. You'll fine plenty of AWJ bashing outside of England but you seem to have got it in your head that only the English engage in this...
That's your perception of him, which is subjective. Referees seem to get on well with him and he's pretty good at playing the "what me???" face and generally knows how to play the game.Whatever, you seem to be convinced only the English really have a thing against AWJ whilst also admitted you don't have a clue what the view is anywhere. If that's the case why are you arguing?
Tell me, how many whinging players involved in gamesmanship do you know who are liked outside their own country? Then please explain why you'd be surprised to discover that when said player happens to be Welsh it gets the same reaction?
