2021 British & Irish Lions Squad

Not happy at all that our underperforming head coach is going straight from Ireland camp to the Lions. Joe Schmidt would be analysing every aspect of a test window in preparation for the next immediately after rather than cluttering his mind with another coach's systems, nevermind the fact he'll have one eye on the Lions during our tests.

Priorities all over the place.

Not much solidarity to his captain who was the only captain not to be picked either.

But apart from that you're excited about the appointment?

So currently we have:

Gatland - Head coach
Townsend - Attack coach
McBryde - Forwards coach
Tandy - Defence coach
Jenkins - Kicking

Where does Farrell fit in? Line out coach? Logically I'm assuming he would be involved in either attack or defence, which would undermine either Townsend or Tandy. Strange choice this late on and for me only serves to disrupt the coaching setup. Now POC as line out coach would make sense.

The Lions need a lineout coach and scrum coach. You know two key aspects v SA in their strongest area. What does Gatland do? Take on a second defence coach.

Seriously though, can see Farrell just being like assistant Head coach who takes the burden off of Gatland's shoulders. Motivation etc Hurt speech repeat and taking it the next level as I am not your national coach I am a Lions coach telling the squad.

Looks like Biggar escaped a sanction from that Umaga clear out the other day so all good to play Japan if selected.

Honestly there is no other player in the NH I'd be thinking about taking a punt on in terms of coming back from injury than Manu. If fit and fully ready to go he'd be my first name on the team sheet as he provides an X factor I'm unsure anyone else does in their position. Coupled with his ability to always comes back great un like other people.

But its not like the only thing wrong with this squad and I've given up caring beyond supporting the team on match day.

No real point to this story but Jake Ball rocked up to a house party that one of my mates was hosting last week. Very large bloke who just kind of sat in the corner seemingly hoping that no one would bother him. Nice guy though.
@TRF_Olyy does he get banned for not calling him Jake Ballsack or something?

Lol, missed what triggered this comment somehow. Gotta love a 13 hour workday Friday!

Let's hope AWJ isn't involved in any fisticuffs on tour. The Bok forwards will be laughing at that video.

Maybe if there was a world class outhalf who'd been the most important player for the Lions over the last two tours and has a winning record over SA or something like that available. But surely we're in the land of fairytales there.

AWJ: a leader of men and has the full respect of everyone who comes in contact with him. Just to be in the same team is to want to run through walls for him

Also AWJ: gets his face caved in by Jake Ballsack
