[2017 RBS Six Nations] Round 3: England vs Italy (26/02/2017)

I'm not sure Itoje is better than launchbury, think they are pretty close personally. But I like me a good cuppa Joe. If you watch wasps from time to time you can't not notice how good he is. On some days he does the other forwards' work for them, particularly the back row.

Agree it's very close between them and although my preference is Itoje, I'm not gonna disagree with those who prefer Launch. He is quality. However, in this England set up where we have no fetcher in the back row Itoje is needed.

Don't want to rush Mako.

Re Brown, well I don't think Watson is ready to start and I think Nowell, Daly are our best likely wingers and Brown is safe enough in my eyes to not cost us the game.

Ben Morgan at 8 again? Would this really be so bad in the absence of Billy?

Can only imagine what the score would have been if italians didnt exploit a loop hole. Was looking farward to this game seeing how we performed but it was fustrating not knowing how to defend and attack it.

Nowell looked strong needs to start against scotland, would like mako to start aswell put watson on the bench instead of may. Brown doesn't really offload when he should need to slowly start bringing in a successor.

Would like this rule to be changed, it slows down the game and yes it worked as a tactic and can be exploited to the attackers advantage but i just dont think it should stick.

Eddie Jones - "That wasn't rugby"
The rest of the rugby world - "Eddie Jones is a ****ing ****"

I'm sure he really loves it. As soon as I saw BBC report this comment I saw angry none English rugby fans whinging. The tactic of a manager to put the focus of a poor performance to one side so Eddie get's all the media attention and it's already working.

Didnt hughes give three penalties away at the breakdown in the space of 5 min? Does he know the difference between on and off your feet? I rate him but he needs to develop into this roll at this level, off the bench get billy back soon as poss we need him

Cannot wait to see what he says when we beat them! If England were coached by Schmidt they'd be better and liked!

Haha, If Schmidt coached England he'd be hated too. It's how it works. No one had a bad word to say about Eddie until he took on this job. Having said that he shouldn't be criticising italy, he should be roasting his stupid players.

Eddie is right.

FFS the Irish where ******* there pants over NZ being rough to them in the AI's.

They're still crying about getting tackled now,
NZ are the dirtiest team in they dared tackle them knackers from out west

I think that's one of the reasons EJ is persisting with Hartley. Hartley doesn't give a rats about being hated, but he takes the focus off of the other players because who doesn't love to hate Hartley?

People hate Eddie Jones because he's a complete knob. Nobody hated Stuart Lancaster.

Ahh no, Lancaster was liked by all but the Welsh. Schmidt has so much class, he couldn't be disliked outside of Munster and Connacht (Their less intelligent offerings at that) Jones is known as an arrogant gob****e. He just had a romantic role with Japan.
