It's a real shame for Italy that despite having one genius idea they were still poor in other basic areas. If they could have made their tackles, kept their defensive positioning and played for 80 minutes on top of their brilliant little USP, I honestly think they'd have beaten us

Wood's been terrible, Launch and Lawes have been our most consistent players the last few games

Not if the referee has a backbone and penalises your bunch for their constant infringing
Binny will be back by then anyway, and you'll see what a real number 8 is. Nowell will have no issues containing Heaslip out on the wing.

Yes, but I think the Krutoje partnership is better than any other combo we can make.
However itoje is looking a lot better now so maybe Krubury with Itoje a permanent fixture in the backrow, Lawes on the bench?
I think Kruis is vastly underrated, like Robshaw, because he doesn't make highlight reel carries or hits.

Really? Launch and Lawes were just about the only 2 starters (plus Itoje and Daly) who can come away from that game with some credit. Can't see dropping either of them for Wood being justifiable. Would like to see Itoje and Lawes swap shirts though just because them being in each other's position annoys me at scrum time.
