[2017 RBS Six Nations] Round 3: England vs Italy (26/02/2017)

why are people down on teo, he was the only starting back that showed up to play
I don't think he was poor just think he's better on the bench. I think JJ would of made a far better go it today than Te'o.

Haha.... The #grit thing is an American thing. Don't blame you for it coming off like that.

Were you on at him about sandpaper and intangibles as well?

Launchbury, Lawes, Itoje were good

Haskell was okay

Daly and Te'o also had tidy games, and Brown didn't have a huge amount to do

Every other starter had a game ranging from a bit poor to absolutely terrible

My team v Scotland
1) Marer
2) George
3) Cole
4) Launchbruy
5) Lawes
6) Itoje
7) Haskell
8) Clifford/Harrison (I guess 8 is so weak FFS).
9) Youngs
10) Ford
11) Nowell
12) Faz
13) JJ
14) Daly
15) Brown

16) Hartley
17) Vunipola
18) Sink
19) Williams
20) Clifford/Harrison
21) Care
22) T'eo
23) Watson/Slade

Honestly Zach Mercer would of been better playing today than Hughes.

The only back who showed up to play was Daly. Te'o bumbled round a bit and scored an easy try.

That's unfair. He didn't get many opportunities but made a good effort at doing something with every chance he did get. If May had held his offload we'd be creaming over him.

I think people are being a bit harsh on may, he dropped it because Teo took his legs out from under him as he was tackled by the Italian defender
Probably should have caught it but it's not like it was a clean drop under no pressure

Tigs why Brown? Seriously why?

Thought he was one of our more capable players today. Removing him isn't the top priority right now. A new front row, 8, 9, and finding out what the Hell was wrong with Faz today are all far more important.

I wasn't blaming May, just defending Te'o

I'm not sure Itoje is better than launchbury, think they are pretty close personally. But I like me a good cuppa Joe. If you watch wasps from time to time you can't not notice how good he is. On some days he does the other forwards' work for them, particularly the back row.

agreed, i just thought he played well and was surprised to see negative comments

and with daly i think he would be better if they would just stick him at fullback... seems like he is doing brown's job half the time and could put a wing at 11

speaking of intangibles... hartley showed that he has the worst intangibles in the history of modern sport today
