[2016 RBS Six Nations] Round 4: England vs. Wales (12/03/2016)

I am sick and tired of seeing Dan Cole give away points through poor discipline!
We nearly lost this game because of him yet again.
For goodness sake Eddie get rid of him from the squad!

Completely agree in general but I saw that penalty as more a team one... There was no way we were ever finishing that game with 15 men

Goooddd gooooood

It's worse than world cup he had time to make the correct decision this time and failed dismally.

Care to elaborate I'm not arguing just wonder if I missed something u didn't.

Which one? Francis?

I completely disagree because it was a team penalty.

It's crazy how the England set up never seem to see it.

I don't agree with the automatic substitutions that are now commonplace, but they don't even seem to apply to Cole, very unusual for a prop to still be on at 70 minutes, so it's even more bizarre that one as poor as Cole stays on.

I'm totally in agreement with this, Cole, Robshaw and Hartley were the worst offenders but Hartley has grown up with responsibility and Robshaw with needing to prove his worth, Cole seems to take an arrogant enjoyment in giving stupid penalties away, he drives me mad, he can't be trusted.

Contact to the face usually results in a ban similar to what Chris Ashton is facing. Regardless of intent it was adjudged by the referee to be reckless which is a red card every day of the week (and will be proven when he's given a ban). The fact Wales scored two try's while we were 1 man down when they should of been as well really guiles me.

No mention of Haskell.

Not sure if serious.

I hope that Jones doesn't take the wrong lessons from his disastrous substitutions.

It's not that the players he brought on aren't good players or aren't suited to tight test matches.

It's that making a myriad of unnecessary changes can cause disruption and a loss of rhythm.

Very fair point and I fully catch your drift, with that said something went fundamentally wrong in the last 20 we had so much dominance until the last 20 we should never have leaked points like we did, I still however maintain that Williams pass was forward for one of the Wales tries.

From what I heard, he wasn't getting a lot of help from the TMO to the right sanction. Still shoulda got there, but the ref's the minor offender in that part for me. Probably the same as Hask earlier.

Joubert is a huge joke.

Makes ones colossal f*** up with the Francis call, so balances it out with another colossal f***up with calling North in touch. Idiot.

Not his fault North got manhandled.

Jourbert didn't make that call, the 4th official did. So anyone having a go at him needs to reign it in a bit.

I also think that it was a very different situation to most accusations of gouging, as it happened in the act of clearing out. More usual that it happens when both players are already on the deck in a ruck. Will be interesting to see what the outcome of a citing is. Could easily have been a yellow though.

In what universe was north not in touch, suggest you go spec savers dear boy, North even close :)

EJ summed it up well at the end-strange game.

England lacking the game management and key decision makers, I thought Youngs was pretty poor why wasn't he clearing the deck at key moments? So much so I can see them going to Paris and get beat.

Yeah he was passing the buck and its not good enough the referee is in charge not the TMO. From the second he was told he "definitely made contact" there only one end to that decision.
