[2016 RBS Six Nations] Round 4: England vs. Wales (12/03/2016)

England one game away from becoming the worst grand slam winners in history.

That was a risible second half performance.

Very lucky to have Wales and Ireland at home this year because we'd have been absolutely mullered away from home.

I'm happy with the win but really thought we'd blown it with 15 mins left. All credit to Wales for a terrific second half performance.
Need to nip to Boots for false fingernails!

Congrats England. Fully deserved that win. We didn't deserve to be in with a shout at the end. We didn't do anything till the last 10min when we finally tried to actually play some rugby.

Hopefully this finally gets Gats to change things, because we looked far better when we threw the game plan out of the window and started passing the damn ball.

England should win the grand slam now and they deserve it. They haven't been exceptional, but they've been comfortably better than every team they've faced thus far. What more can they do really?

Best match of the series and all kudos to those Itoje fans.....he was brilliant and is fast approaching the time when he is appointed captain!

I'll take the win but little else after a completely one sided 1st half when Wales should have been buried, we could have lost that game after a shocking second half where England seemed to think the game was over already, I went from ecstatic to kicking the wall in frustration!!

Itoje was possibly the difference, we, or Brown, made poor decisions in attack and the 4th official was a joke with his calls for England, but that's what you get from a saffer I suppose. How Francis stayed on the field I don't know. If we fold in France like we did in the last quarter here we'll lose in France.

Commiserations to the Welsh, that was one hell of a come back and I thought they didn't get the rub of the green with reffing decisions throughout. Also, might want to stop throwing the ball near Itoje.

Anyway, feeling pretty damn happy for once here. A few concerning issues, but that's the England I want to see.

Looked like Wales were drugged for the first 70 minutes! Seriously. And when it wore off they came to life.
What WAS the story?

Firstly it's a W and should be the ***le. And the first half was the best I've seen us in a long time.

But points always happen with sin bins. We had such a lead it would have been better to concede the try but keep 15; we didn't have to gamble. But Cole goes off for that and Francis stays on; can't be right, however you look at it.

Imagine if it was Hartley checking that Tomas Francis had his contact lenses in.

Life, as we know it, would cease to exist.

Well it's great that we've finally had an outstanding game of rugby 4 rounds in anyway. If England keep smothering teams for 60 minutes, and then slack off for 20, people might actually misinterpret it as them playing exciting rugby.

Did you watch how England dominate the second half at home last year??????

The changes upset the balance granted anyone that argues England were not better today is just not watching the same game not to mention the shady forward pass from Williams or the fact that Wales probably should have received a card for all the early infringements.

I am sick and tired of seeing Dan Cole give away points through poor discipline!
We nearly lost this game because of him yet again.
For goodness sake Eddie get rid of him from the squad!
