Have to say I'm a bit concerned by our talk of being a 'settled and confident squad' and Ireland being pessimistic. We don't do favourites very well. Liam Williams playing has eased those concerns but I'm still a bit worried we're too overconfident. We've been there before.

Not really... If a very near full strength Ireland were facing a severely depleted Wales, the Irish fans on here would be just as confident as the Welsh currently are... and rightly so too.

The current situation dictates that we feel pretty confident with all things considered. Doesn't mean it's any foregone conclusion that we will win, as we found out against a depleted England last year but I will be justifiably p***ed if we don't get the w today... as I was against the English last year.

The Irish do not need whatever Garces may or may not be considered to be giving them.......the Welsh are doing their best to give them the game every time they get into the Irish 22 where they give the ball up!

Three times in the 22 and three times Ireland end up easily in the other 22 and score!!
