[2015 Six Nations] Wales vs Ireland (Round 4)

I'll give you that it is tired at this stage but in all honesty are you saying its wrong? Are you saying Wales vary their attacking structure?

Nope, but is 'it depends which France turns up' wrong? Just saying that it's becoming a cliché, even though it is true

Meh, a team hasn't come within a try of beating Ireland, the last 20 minutes of all three games have been very comfortable. If they lose tomorrow, which I'm almost certain they won't, a 15 point win in Murrayfield will retain the championship. Not that they should care, anything but a slam is a failure for the side now.

Well all depends like Wales still have Italy. And we never find it easy in Murrayfield. But wouldn't say anything but a slam is failure. This Welsh team has been playing well and deserves respect. And we are playing a structured game well but we aren't setting world apart in terms of scoring buckets of tries and killing teams off so there is slight vulnerability.

Am pickin Ireland in this one. I think Schmidt is currently the better coach and as a result his team is playing better. Gatland was great for Wales when he first came in but after 8 years in the role I feel he is becoming a bit stale and that is showing in Welsh rugby.

I'm also picking Schmidt to stay on in Ireland after the world cup, as I think Hansen will retain his position. The only way I see Schmidt leaving is if he is offered a job working with Hansen with the view of him taking over in a year or two. I think New Zealand is planning on having bloodless coaching changes like they did from Henry to Hansen.

Am looking forward to this one as it should be a good close game between 2 very good teams (and genuine world cup contenders).

Wales are starting very well.

I do wish Steve Walsh had been able to ref it though.

never before, and never again, will I find myself shouting 'GO ON DAN BIGGAR!'

Wales looking seriously good.
Showing what can be done when you play rugby against Ireland.

Any chance Butler can stop calling Willliams, Goerge North?!!!

I think everything I said as fear will happen. It'll just be 1 of those days. Hope we can settle a bit and just try get in to game.

We gave away four penalties against England, three already here.

EDIT: This is getting ridiculous.

That's kinda harsh. McGrath was clearly trying to get away and wasn't interfering

That's the thing, though - when the opposition plays with some endeavour, you are more likely to concede.

Not like this. We've played against sides who play with 'endeavour' before and still kept the count down. We generally don't go above 11 at the very most. Having said that I do feel two of them have been harsh but then again we knew what Barnes was like going in to this.

Disappointed for Lee and that's a big loss in the scrum for Wales. Wales were ticking away nicely then as well with control over the pace of the game, hope this doesn't disrupt their rhythm.

No has written Ireland off yet, don't you worry.

In saying that some were poor decisions by players. POM was poor for his 1. But as I said I won't blame any player or coaches just think this was going to happen regardless. Really need Paulie to pull a few ****s out now.

Jiffy describes that penalty as consistent but I'm not so sure....sometimes the referee has to just accept that the player can't move and yet isn't interferring, and the ball is still available. I'm not sure a penalty was necessary.

I'm beginning to wonder how much training Sexton has actually been able to do.

I changed my fantasy kicker, Halfpenny by Sexton. The worst decision I ever made in my life

Best passage from us so far. Silly pass attempt from Payne though.
