Most likely

6.Wood
7.Robshaw
8.Vunipola

Bench:
Haskell

You have to get Kvesic involved somehow though.

I don't see it being too terrible to play Waldrom. He's in good form, has a few caps, 80-minute player, and is technically sound as an 8.

In fact, I'd probably rather see him start in Cardiff than Binny, who's seems shot of confidence and form.

The only other options are chuck Ewers in at the deep end (out of position) or play Haskell at 8, which, considering how lightweight Wood is now, will mean bugger-all carrying from the back row.

Waldrom goes missing if the game goes tight though. Would rather have 6) Ewers, 7) Robshaw, 8) Haskell. But won't happen.

Anyway despite a poor 2nd half Kitchener and Tait both played extremely well.

Tait outplayed Brown imo.

Lancaster was at the AJ Bell today and apparently cipriani was impeccable and knocked over some very tough kicks in gale force conditions too.

Beaumont is clearly the next in line for the 8 shirt :p

I hope cips is picked for England mainly because sale should be a different team to play against without him and I think TIgers play them over the 6n's period.

Seeing as though Vunipola will (rightly) go into pole position, having Ewers on the bench would be the best option by a mile IMO.

Cover for 6 and 8.

Robshaw, Kvesic and Vunipola could work well I think. A worker, a fetcher and a strong carrier.

Billy Vunipola beat no defenders and made no clean breaks in 80 minutes in the Glos-Sarries match.
Ben Morgan beat one defender in 48 minutes.
Gareth Evans made one clean break and beat 6 defenders in 32 minutes.

Waldrom :p (gonna apologise in advance for my pedantry)

Heh, I'm okay with this.

yeah, the :( was because of Morgan being oout - no massive aversion to Waldrom as he's playing pretty welll...

also N & M are right next door to each other you pedant!!

Wouldn't pick Easter it would go against everything Lancaster has done. Has to be Ewers or Armitage purely because both are match winners and can change a game.

Yes and I have always said that after one purple patch BV has been cr*p!
I don't know what to make of Billy, I always get the feeling he's a bit of a flat track bully, running over weaker teams when the Sarries/England pack is on top... mitigating circumstance though, is that he often finds himself as one of very few ball carriers in the England set up = teams can afford to mark him 2:1.
Hask at 8 would not work, despite his size he is not a good enough ball carrier in the tight. With Morgan out I would pick Robshaw/Kvesic/Vunpola with Ewers on the bench, I just hope neither Croft or Wood are in the team.
To be honest I wouldn't now be too adverse to trying Armitage out (even though it leaves a sour taste) just to found out what he can actually do and put the speculation to bed once and for all.
Anyone know what the Toulon backrow is? 6. Lobbe 7.? 8. Armitage
Not too sure how good Armitages' ball carrying is.. 6. Robshaw 7. Kvesic 8. Armitage maybe too lightweight? (would be a fearsome jackling threat though).

To be fair though Gareth Evans 6 defenders beaten was probably the one run for the long try under the posts lol

Yeh i feel the same to be honest . He's a really hard working player who deserves a chance . Be good to have some Chiefs around too they seem to have a great attitude and team ethic

I believe its Gorgodze or Smith at 6 with Lobbe at 7.

you can add Armitage, Masoe, Vosloo, and Bruni + the 3 you have mentioed so the choice is, lets say not too shabby no wonder they have 2 H Cups and TOP 14 winning medals in their pockets, dont tell anyone else, they will tell you its all about MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!
