Cole out.

Absurdly I'd rather this than Corbisiero getting injured . Brookes has been immense since he came into the squad and Wilson is awesome in the tight . Plus don't forget his break against wales last year that someone on here fantastically labeled the "rampaging moose"

I'm sure we will be fine although 2 front rows from any of Cole Wilson Corbs Marler Youngs Hartley or Webber is literally boner inducing for a forwards coach to pick from

I hope Mullan doesn't get cast aside for Mako.

Same . I'd much rather Mullan tbh

We seem to have some serious depth at prop when a year ago we were all complaining at the lack of.

Just off the top of my head we have Corbs Marler Mako Mullan Waller at LH
Cole Wilson Brookes Sinkler Thomas(meh) and Auterac (can't remember if he is TH or LH)

A fair few international teams would bite your hand off for any of those tbh

Auterac is a loosehead.
Pains me to say it but Thomas is playing very well at Bath recently. He's had a better season, on the whole, than Sinckler.

Launchbury out for whole season

Due back for pre world cup training.

So Locks ATM
Lawes
Attwood
Parling
Kruis
Kitchener

I suppose the silver lining of Launchbury, Corbisiero, Tuilagi and Cole being out for so much of the season is that they'll be fresher for the World Cup

In theory; but on the other hand it might mean they're undercooked or don't even have time to play themselves back into contention.

I can't see any other than Launchbury being under cooked . Corbs is back now (presuming he doesn't get injured again) Cole has a short injury and Manu will be back in the next 3-4 weeks . Plenty of the season left and their clubs are likely to be in the playoffs

Morgan looks to be out of the Six Nations, potentially longer. Gas and oxygen for a lower leg injury usually indicates break/fracture or dislocation. Bad news.

If RFU and Lancaster were considering Armitage at 8 for exceptional circumstances does this increase the likelihood of that?

Yes... It may well speed up the Armitage process in that he could be included now.

Nope.

6. Wood/Haskell/Clark
7. Robshaw/Kvesic
8. Vunipola/Ewers

I would personally have Ewers at 6 instead of Clark and Evans in at 8 (potentially even starting, thought that both Morgan and Evans looked better than Billy Vunipola in the Glos-Sarries game), but this is probably Lancaster's line-up. Maybe Croft will be included too, Lancaster does like him.

No need for Armitage.

Well Sam Burgess has just scored his first try for bath so is now ready to be the spearhead of England's attack through the World Cup.

Securing the trophy after an 80 metre pick up from the back of the scrum in the final seconds of the World Cup final.

Waldrom is definitely next in line going on past selections.

Ewers would be an inspired selection though
