[2015 Six Nations] England vs France (Round 5)

What!?

I was convinced it was a knockon, and then I was convinced it was a French penalty....now a try?!

I've been on a rollercoaster of emotions, here.

I do like this TMO - seems far more procedural and accurate than most... at least in his explanations.

That is surely a knock on by NacataciaiaiaiTcataicaiaia ?

That equals the French try that people think may be doubtful...................

It must be difficult for French players when they ask for an explanation and they're met with a flurry of English words.

Officiating has been excellent thus far. Perhaps a bit of a question over the second French try, but they were clear in their descriptions!

Most of them say Anglais better that what we are...................

Maybe they should've learnt their place after Agincourt and accepted us as their rightful overlords.

Though considering they're all South African/Fijian, they probably do OK.

Give Plisson a sandwich or two, then, fatten him up/weigh him down.
Lawes hit him, it's not his fault he hit him so hard that Plisson basically did a flip.

If he did that to Andy Goode it wouldn't have looked as bad.

The laws don't look at that though, do they? I'm not sure of the exact wording of the ruling, but Plisson did land on his head/neck with his feet on the air, and I'm led to believe that's a straight no-mercy no-excuses red card. I'm pretty happy Owens didn't come to that ruling, I'm pleased there's still some common sense around, but I was afraid he would when the replay came on.

Similarly I'm quite relieved they didn't sin bin Youngs for a no arms tackle to try and prevent a try, which I believe would have been technically correct.

Anyway, great game, awful England performance.
