[2015 RWC] Final: New Zealand vs. Australia (31/10/2015)

In Australia I find the time zone makes it hard to really organise anything. It's on here around 1am. I'll be watching it in bed, which is cool, but no big party or anything.

This is about 2 things for me the back rows and how soon Beale comes on and Folau leaves the field.
I can see the Oz back row all over the AB's and McCaw ending up with a yellow for cheating (Again) Folau for me has been a disappointment so if and when Beale replaces him will be crucial, I give it to Oz by 4 - 6 points, maybe after extra time, maybe not. Anyway as a neutral I am really looking forward to this match, lets hope its better than most finals are, and I have a feeling it will be.

I would add Giteau as well and wonder how long he will last. He suffered a Groin strain against the Pumas and had to come off. Having experienced one myself playing football I know how painful it is and takes weeks to recover from; I thought I was ok after 1 week and tried to play again only to reinjure the same area:rolleyes:. You only had to see how difficult it was for Sexton to miss Ireland v Argentina with one and Crockett missing the last two weeks with the same injury.

Yes your right I can't believe he'd be playing though if it was a proper groin strain, as for Folau he has looked out of sorts this WC and for me has dissapointed.

Yeah, because this forum has been replete with trash talking Aussies, and no Kiwi has ever shown a hint of arrogance or disrespect to anyone... oh wait.

You ought to go have a look over at Green & Gold Rugby's forum - hardly the cesspit of smart ass children and most are doing anything but talking up our chances. Meanwhile over here, we have proud and humble Kiwis like KW who routinely claim the Wallabies aren't capable of beating anyone and when they do win refuses to give them even the tiniest bit of credit.

Glass houses and all that...

I wouldn't be surprised if the ALL BLACKS score 5 tries
in the final.
Remember the Wallabies didn't really qualify against Scotland.

Lets not start this again, just cause NH rugby is so **** it can't even make the semis at its own WC you don't have to target McCaw.

Once you make the finals of a WC then you can start, so in about 20 years you can join the big boys table.

just so glad our white supremacist friends are playing for fourth place, rather than spoiling another final.did u know the springboks pray before each game- can u imagine them-"deer Gud please don't let the referee catch us cheeting." What a crew. most of them are closet homosexuals trying to hide it with their ott displays of supposed masculinity.

Could be a bluff.

Putting high balls to NMS is obvious, as he struggled under the high ball v SA. Could be a bluff, but I don't think so. Captain's run is all about getting the game plan right. Coaches will be nervous as hell that they've the team ready to start worrying about bluffing the media and ABs. I think they would be too focused on their own team. If anything this will plant a seed of doubt in the Wallaby camp. ABs should be expecting the Wallaby game plan leaked.

Oops indeed. What a dumb **** thing to do.

Thing is it's not fake. Tactics like target NMS and Savea in the air, rattle Read at restarts, target Carter, do make sense from a tactical point of view.

"Australia have lost 20 out of their last 25 meetings against New Zealand, but significantly won their last meeting 27-19 in Sydney in August."

Clearly, Gavin Mairs does not know about this result

Jeez Gavin, I realise you have to put your clocks back for the time difference when arriving in England, but back 78 days!!?

Testing NMS with high balls would be a perfectly obvious tactic. And given Read's current problems, concentrating on further unsettling him makes sense.
