np do you know how to centre the thread so the fixture thing is at the top part in the middle ?

Hooper set for captaincy

Moore's injury looks like it will propel 22 year-old Michael Hooper into the Wallabies top job, after the vice-captain played magnificently in the win over France. "He's a lead-by-example sort of guy and highly respected in the playing group." McKenzie said, adding, "It didn't affect his playing, he played exceptionally well and that's part of it too."

Unfortunately the captaincy job has been a health hazard of late. Moore's setback follows the season-ending injuries in 2012 that afflicted James Horwill (hamstring), David Pocock (knee) and Will Genia (knee), who were all appointed to the role by former coach Robbie Deans.

so you like the fixture list like that

Yes but if you like it centered, I have no problem changing it

It'll be interesting to see if Horwill, Jones or Skelton will be selected as starting lock to replace the injured Sam Carter.

Hopefully no more injuries for us and we can hold off a bolstered French who will come out more prepared.

Skelton has to come in. He's been absolutely devastating for the 'Tahs this year and looks a brilliant prospect for the RWC if he can get top level experience.

I would rather Jones come in and Skelton on the bench. Jones is a similar player to Carter and I think Link will, correctly in my eyes, move someone similar so as to not to affect the gameplan. Skelton would be devastating of the bench running at tired forwards.

^^ Would go with this approach.
Was expecting Jones to be the first choice after his good performances in the S15
Skelton with 20 to go must be a nightmare for any opposing team

Yeah fair points. Skelton's weight and power will make him very hard for tired legs.

So France in Test 1 were trying out an "inverted defense" system where they cut the width and took away the depth of the opposing attack. Obviously, with the genius staff we've got, they found it a good idea to try that out on the first test while in the Aussies' backyard...
I thought it was strange...I mean, we contained the AB's really, really well in all 3 tests last summer, they never came close to 50 or scored more than 3 tries. And at home in November, we absolutely shut them down.

Parra did admit though they were impressed by the technical prowess of the Wallabies, the speed and exactitude in execution.
I know France can beat the Wallabies, I really do, this isn't something to comfort myself with. But with this current mentality/coaching staff and the plethora of problems we've got atm, I doubt we'll do better in three tests than just coming close.

It's so very hard to assess where France are right now, because as of 2014, we've produced two pretty good performances, although both at home: vs ENG and vs IRE. They weren't perfect, God, not at all. But they were pretty good.
And the thing is, we may not even know where France are really at even at the end of this entire series. We may lose the next two amply, but surprise the world in November. It's just way beyond analysis and any sort of common sense.

sounds like an idea from a coach coaching a tier 2 nation

there isn't much detail, it just says he's in doubt for the second Test after missing training on Monday.

Palu to miss a match because if injury? This is unheard of..... ;)
