[2014 EOYT] France vs Fiji

Just read your previous post and tell me that I am aggressive, seriously. You're a troll to a point that it's insulting.

Also, i'm an atheist so no fear here Yoe 92.

the fact that someone of your poor intellectual caliber and a heart so sick and shut is an atheist doesn't make God magically not exist ! Also you tell me about one post when you've been on an absolute rampage besides that...alala....Jbobo, you're starting to turn adorable all of a sudden :D

Easy guys we're headed down a slippery slop here...

And for the record god doesn't exist because he doesn't exist. If he was to exist that would be magic!

Maybe i have nothing to say about BE is because i am all grown up and know exactly how BE works he is harmless so why do you get so worked up about all this instead you could join in the conversation submit interest and be a happy Happy Bunny like the rest of us. BE has his own unique way of coming across some don't like it but with a little maturity you would be able to understand he has a vast knowledge and does not always spit nails, often inteligence, i think i'll stop there or BE will want me as his agent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fair post, but vastly over-exaggerating Ewis's rugby knowledge and general intelligence. Almost everything i've seen him post has been either completely irrelevant or so full of holes it puts Swiss cheese to shame. This along with his nocuous and ranting style makes many people (including me) frustrated. When confronted, it's a barrage of insults and another ranting explanation of how we are wrong and clueless, without any actual counter argument or contribution to the discussion.

Waffling to the point of the appearance of vague substance, does not make him intelligent. It demonstrates the opposite.

You're right however, he is not worth taking seriously and indeed most will ignore him but it's difficult when he is literally every other post you see on every thread.

I'll take it on board, and try to treat him like the troll he is. However, he should understand that if he wants to spout his own brand of bull***t about other teams, it is only going to breed the same about his own. This is a flaw on my part, as i have been sucked into it today. In future i'll try not to. However, if i see him spouting said rubbish i will call him on it if needs be.

I do not personally believe, but in the end nobody knows and they may indeed exist. Unlike you, i do not feel that everything i believe is absolute and undeniable fact. It takes a special kind of stupid to make a connotation like that... Makes sense in your case then.

Edit - This will be my last post on the issue, as i will not help Ewis to permanently derail another thread for the sake of his ego.

You know what some great men like Straus-Kahn or Rocco say: "the slipperier, the merrier". It's a notorious adage...And you know first hand magic exists, French Rugby fan !!! Come, now, where's your heart gone ?!

EDIT:
for the record, to anyone reading this. I don't know why my knowledge of Rugby comes in play here. I've never ever claimed I was a savant, and for a guy who's been a fan for 3 years (last RWC) and who's had to learn absolutely everything on his own, I'd say I'm doing pretty fkng well. My knowledge of current French Rugby over the past 3-4 years is fairly spot-on though, as I do watch a lot of Top 14 indeed and spend time reading about/discussing it...voilà !

OK, do I really have to wade into another thread to tell people to cut it out? Seriously, quit ruining threads with this stupid, childish bickering. I don't care if you take it to PMs, but stop wrecking the forum for those who actually want to use it as intended. I feel like a babysitter, having to come on here to pull screaming kids apart. I am done with warnings, this goes for everybody.

Babysitting the French and others a task not to be relished, but back on topic sensibly i hope, everyone has recuperated their toys and they are securely back in the pram!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.The front five should make all the difference and if they use the ball between and throw it wide only when necessary the platform should be gained. As in most matches these days the end result could well come after 60 mins the French bench is good weighty and should finish Fidji off, if they don't the following tests ,6 Nations and WC will be a farce for France.

quite dark visions I'm getting from just thinking about that.....
But I disagree with you on that last sentence. It would seem like it indeed, but France could very well be very mediocre in this one (by their own failing standards that is) but awaken a bit for the next two, become shiit again for the 6N and then pull something out of the rabbit's asshole (or wtvr the expression is...) come RWC for the 1/4 for e.g.
I keep reminding ppl that the 2012 EOYT was under PSA. We didn't have French Flair or anything back then, but we had a certain continuity in the attacking and good precision, along with individuals shining that was well enough (also we still had the French scrum back then... ).

France doesn't need to start playing like the All-Blacks to be a force, they just need to play in the mold of a fine Top 14 team: get the basics right, insure good continuity in the phases and go forward, commit in the rucks and lock it up on defense, find a scrum again, a strong counter-attacking threat, make the points from the tee and play intelligently from your 10's foot - and then every once in a while have your individual class shine through or a good strong flair movement. That's IT. Play decent/good Top 14 Rugby.

whether you disagree or not the problem exists!!!!!!! France need a confidence booster and this has to be it or the ball could keep rolling downhill until its unfetchable, and also very difficult to compare with rabbits, rugby is a team game if it does not click sh** hits the fan!!!! a la PSA when he was at Toulon for example, great players no coach no win all change when Bernie the Bolt arrived!!!!! France should not have to do anything special to get to a WC 1/4 they should be good enough to be automatic qualifers but at the moment this is not the case, so confidence has to be gained and that can only come by winning, no rabbits, no hats, no fu**ing magicians, and certainly no rabbits rectums, but as Gaston will be there on Sat i will have a word, guide them in the right direction and Voila you know Gaston is not often wrong so an easy win for France and move on, Psa may then become just as popular as Holland, (not the country you silly man)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt 'a word' with a strong English accent will spark anything glorious into the French national team, but it's just crazy enough to work !! By all means, do it gastoni !! But then I still have to disagree with you, I really do. You seem to be underestimating the immeasurable and singular insanity of the French, which to be completely honest is very insulting...
Easy examples are the last WC, and I'll just bring it up for the sake of this talk; we all know the drill: pools, we get fkd by NZ, lose to Tonga and look mediocre against CAN and JAP. Then we beat ENG valiantly out of nowhere, our 'bete noire', and end up making the final and producing one heck of a competitive match there. It doesn't take a confidence booster for France to become good again some times, it takes a random (or profound, meaningful) 'remise en question', players digging deep within themselves. And that spark, the clicking - it does happen at seemingly random, or to be more fanciful, "magical" rodents' anal parts times.

The last time that clicking occurred it was after a bad 6N and first test and LOSS against a weakened Pumas side. The year was 2012...we literally start playing very good Rugby from one week to the next, one set of eighty minutes to the very next against the same team, in the same country and the same weather; and never looked back for the following series of tests (November 2012).
All of a sudden, Michalak turns into the best 10 in the world, our forwards are devouring their opponents at the breakdown and we're moving forward always, the backline has springs in its behinds and soles, and we're putting a ton of points on the boards.

The random emotional switch exists, and you know it !!! Don't underestimate the magnitude of the diarrhea masterpiece France can conjure out of ab-so-lut-ely NAATHNG (for a butthole in essence is *but a hole*, i.e. nothing).
I rest my case !!...

To quote the matrix "there is no butthole" once France understands that they will be able to bend it to their will!

Don't like fiji's team. Their players are going to have to really stand up for this one. They have two skinny lanky locks in nakarawa and ratuniyarawa, they should have at least one to be an enforcer, so fiji don't have much physical power there. Number 8 matadigo is also a skinny lanky player. They need some power forwards like Samoa and Tonga have. Fiji do have players like that in Soqeta and ravulo on the bench though. I don't rate maafu either so I'm expecting a lot of scrum penalties to France and eventually cards for fiji. If fiji can at least get secure lineouts ball that will be good. If they can't win their own scrims they at least need to win their own lineouts. Nadolo another crucial player is on the bench but that's probably due to his injury. Why isn't matavesi in the team? How has ratini been for his club?

backing that up. Ratini has been superb. And Matadigo is fkng 1m90 110kg + ! That's not the hugest no.8 in today's insane Rugby world, but that's about as big as our no.8 and Chouly's no little girl !

for BE's eyes only!!!!! i understand where you are coming from but confidence is a huge plus in rugby,( this is where i see you have never played) you can not just say its all going to click and the French team will be reborn, just does not happen that way the last WC is possibly the only time they played badly and got to the final). France need to win well, not necessarily by a huge points margin but win all the small battles, the half backs have to have a good game but i think the right ones have been picked, all the players will have to dig deep but if and when they do, confidence appears and the fast flowing rugby that we all know could come to the surface. There are a lot of class players in France, if they click all the better but the confidence that will ouze from a possible victory will put them in good stead for the next 2,
"I also rest my case"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Goneva starts for Leicester in a meaningless mid week game against the Barbarians, and then misses playing for Fiji in the test window against France this weekend.

For ****s sake.
