It's a league term that has seemed to carry through to union, but it doesn't actually exist in the rules. In league, if the tackle is complete you are not allowed to place the ball. In union, you are allowed to reach forward for the tryline, as long as it is done immediately after hitting the floor.Ummmm, yeh there is? That wasn't one, but it certainly exists.
