[2013 EOYT] England

Fraser? George? Kruis?

There's a decent few of them in there. Amongst the the boring ********.

He's a Kiwi.

There are a fair few decent players at Sarries.

Yup. If they could shut up Wray, concentrate on slowly building a fanbase through good winning rugby and stop providing mediocre players to England they'd almost be likable.

Steady on... they've still got that annoying song.

Concentrate on slowly building a fanbase through good winning rugby was shorthand for ditch all those annoying gimmicks that make them look like the ******* offspring of a PR Company and a really embarassing university society i.e. that song ;)

Borthwick retiring at the end of the season has(/will) drastically reduced my hatred of Saracens.
Just need to ship on Stevens and Ashton and I might even be able to watch their games as a neutral!

...Not until they give us Billy back.
...And stick their noses under the salary cap.

To me they'll always be that team who try really hard...but at the end of the day their best player is still Hugh Vyvyan :p

Actually he never was, to be fair.

I hate Saracens because they arn't a real rugby club based on proper rugby fans. Any team that constantly has to use free tickets and gimmicks to get fans in isn't a real team.

Plus they must be over the salary cap

Plus that stupid song

Plus that ****** manager

Plus they don't tech their backs how to actually pass and create space... Or run good lines

Anyone like the look of Jamie Elliott ? He's scored 20 tries in 40 games for Northampton and seems to get around the pitch well

Not sure he's the the long term choice but considering our injuries he might be a good stop gap

Jaime Elliot is going to be a very good player for Saints for a number of years I would think.
Haven't seen anything that suggests he's got international quality tbh and there are other young players who have.

I think Elliot might have international quality, he's good in defence, seems to know his basics and dangerous in attack. But there are people out there who have blatantly more. I can see Elliot getting caps if he keeps on working really hard at his game but he's not one of those talents like Wade or Watson who's going to get a shot sooner or later.

I don't think anyone can prove they have international quality until they have had an opportunity to do so .

I'm thinking we should try new players whilst we are in the unfortunate situation of injuries

On a different subject JJ was good for bath last weekend wasn't he ? Potentially picked a great time to come back to form if he continues it

I can go along with that.

Sure, some players who don't really stand out at club level seem to be far more effective for their country.

JJ has looked good throughout the season.
You should bear in mind the conditions Bath played in for their first 5-6 games though - practically underwater so the backs barely had any ball to play with.
He has looked to do a little too much when he has had the ball at times too - trying to step when a simple pass would be better for example.
I should point out that the Kyle Eastmond dummy run that opened the gap for him wasn't half bad either! ;)

Time is running out for trials when they need a settled squad for the RWC complete with a decent run especially with what less than 20 (10 6N, summer tour, and EOYT) tests to go.........they need to do it in next years 6N but will they?

I can go along with that.

Kyle eastmond JJ centre partnership vs France I'd like it :)

I think you have to go with a club partnership because of all the injuries , 12trees trinder is the obvious one but I like the feel of eastmond and JJ.

Shame though because i really like the look of Burrell, we actually have a fair few Inside Centres to have a look at

In the rugby paper Will Carling is backing Tuilagi to step inside to the 12 shirt sounds like it could work although our worrying lack of cover at 13 will probably kill this
