I always think it's a bit harsh taking players away for interviews while the team is celebrating/in the huddle etc.

I know losing is always disappointing but I thought France played very well, except for their lineout, and really could have crashed the party.

Yes - you do normally have one good game per 6n even when you play badly, for your sake I hope that was a genuine sign of improvement.
