Alcohol sponsorship and rugby, what are our views?

Advertising has taught me goodlooking women you'd want to be with are charmed by schlubby men who spend their free time gambling and drinking. I might’ve thought women would prefer someone who does almost anything other than that in their free time but I was wrong.

I don't drink alcohol, but I'm ok with the alcohol ads. what realy fks me over is the constant gambling ads every game tho. What a great idea, let's tell all the children watching how wonderful paying money to supposedly win $2.50 is
I don't drink alcohol either and I agree. Gambling ads are all over the place here in the states (radio, print, TV, internet, etc).

I'm strongly against both alcohol and gambling ads/sponsorship. Gambling is worse though. People who are promoting such stuff are true criminals in my opinion

agreed. The way they portray both of them as wonderful things is not at all beneficial. especially to children who are easily swayed, especially by the whole bright lights, bushy tails approach they use.

What confuses me tho is how they can get such seemingly good guys like Issy Dagg and John Afoa to advertise it?!
