Let's say Newsom did do something wrong for argument sake, any normal political leader would refuse to comment and say it's a matter for the.police.or courts. Don knows better without even seeing any evidence.

Trumps not much of a dictator though is he? I mean Putin would have taken Musk out with a SAM system and seized all his assets. If he wants to be a proper dictator he needs to up his game.

I think the primary goal was to stay out of jail and now he’s done that it’s just to further enrich himself and his family. I’d be more worried if Trump was 10-20 years younger but fingers crossed the MAGA movement dies when he does.

I think America is in decline as a nation. The drugs, loss of manufacturing jobs and the moral decline of the nation; in turn massive inequality has grown even wider between the ultra wealthy and poor. A large section of the voters are clearly very angry about this and Trump taps into that anger very well. He’s the first social media POTUS to exploit the platform using his brand he built up in the Apprentice. The voters need someone to blame for this demise - immigrants are the easy target then there is the whole law and order are the first port of calls of a dictatorship - look at Nazi Germany and others.
Trump’s aim is to be a Putin like dictatorship - he’s willing to dismantle the democratic institutions first. Even if he doesn’t go for a third term (I think he likes the attention that he will but ultimately won’t.) he wants to embed this “America First” doctrine so that this will be his legacy long after he is gone.
He’s protected for any so called actions deemed as crimes whilst he is President and Whoever follows - Vance, one of his own family could then pardon him for any not covered.

He doesn't come across as the kind of dictator who wants to control everything, he just wants everyone to praise him, feel he's the best and enrich himself in the process. It's just it's a very short distance from that to them punishing all those who don't think you are brilliant. We are already beginning to see that with his vindictive actions.

In fact wasn't Newsome one of the Dems pressing Biden to federalise the national guard to take action back then? I'd have to go check, but there were a number of prominent Dems pushing for it.

1 car set on fire?!?! You havnt been paying attention, there have been 18 road closures from burning cars / fridges / and furniture, the looting has been rife last few nights, way more and electric scooters smashed up... this is much wilder than one burning car lol

1. Trump lost a billion dollars from his first term, only recently made it back from the media company and truth social. He's basically worth similar now as 2015 isn't he, maybe he's up a touch.
2. If you think Trump is the problem, and the MAGA thought process stops with him, you have literally listened to nothing I've said for months, and missed all the political signs since 2015.
