USA news & politics

Hahahaha

She tried to force her way into a detention centre, mid riots, after it had already been attacked and was in a state of emergency...

Were those boarded up doors?

Never let an opportunity go to waste though, Dems in New York pulled the same stunt, rocked up just after protests and arrests and wondered why officials needed to make sure everything was secure. Made sure they videoed the whole event lol.

Where are all the outraged Dems now Abrego is back in the USA? They've moved on to bigger strategies, he's not important any more. Hell 100% get convicted now, and more than likely deported to the El Salvadorian super jail, and left to rot the poor *******.

This is what I'm talking about, 3 stories per week of how Trump is literally Hitler, and after each one the hysteria blows over and move on to the next. In the last month 3rd term fears, taking gifts from Saudis, falling out with Musk, playing WW3 with Russia, Tarrifs, Abrego, Mciver being refused entry, federalisation of national guard...

There will be 3 more stories this week, that will ultimately amount to little, and as it goes on he gets more and more bullet proof, his base, which is now significant, grows and gets more emboldened.

At what point does a different strategy need to be considered?

It's amazing how some political leaders are prepared to put their own citizens and emergency services in harm's way just so that they can engineer a distraction to take the heat off themselves politically. Perhaps Netanyahu gave Trump a few tips.

To be fair, one of the criticisms Netenyahu faces is not putting his citizens at more risk. Gaza has been obliterated from the air and many people, even as early as October 8th, were saying he should’ve sent in special ops teams on the ground which would’ve result in hundreds of Israeli solders dying I would’ve thought. There’s a much better argument for that now but even now it doesn’t seem like that’s the route they’re going down. Thinking about it, and I could be wrong obviously, but I would’ve thought he would’ve gone down that route as that would be a reasonable way you could turn around to people after a couple of years and say “hey, look, we’re trying to not bomb Gaza to the ground and keep civilian death down to a minimum but it’s really hard work for our troops down there and it’s taking a lot longer than expected”

As it stands now you’ve got people very reasonably asking wtf is going on here? What’s the plan? How far along are you? How many Hamas do you estimate are left? Why is this taking so long? Etc etc. Gaza has been levelled and it’s almost been 2 years with literally zero risk to Israeli citizens.

No offence to @Welsh Exile but I find the war an emotive subject and just think we go round in circles arguing about genocide and other technicalities like what Hamas or the Israeli Govt has or hasn't stated as it's aims when actions often speak louder than words. I also get annoyed when someone dares to criticise the Israeli Govt for blocking aid etc. we then get Hamas whataboutery even though pretty much everyone on here recognises Hamas as terrorist scum.

I get that people view the war through different lenses based on the history of this conflict etc. and so this is my final word on the subject.
