Started Lost for the first time.

When is it that it gets bad, and I should stop watching?

Just don't expect there to be a resolution to all the mysteries. If you like the characters then keep watching.

Started watching True Detective. So far only watched 5 episodes; pretty good so far.

And the Americans on ITV. Another protagonist type show, where viewers root for the bad guys. I do like Kerri Russell.

I'm presuming no one here watches "Teen Wolf"? I know there's some stigma attached to it due to MTV, Twilight era etc. but the season 3 finale is some of the finest tv I've seen. I don't use the word awesome (I'm not American) but It was ****ing awesome from start to finish.

Season one is alright some good lines etc but from there it just grows so much and gets so dark.

Freaks and Geeks was fun. Didn't want to watch it but it was actually pretty good. I liked the dad a lot. But Rogen sucks now and he sucked then. But a little less then. But the tall guy with his drumming who plays in "How I met your mother" too, how the hell did he ever get an acting job ? And how DISASTROUS is that last show I mentioned ? wheeewwwwwwwww.......

Anybody used to watch 3rd Rock from the Sun ? John Lithgow is awesome...
How about the Outer Limits (remake 90's series) ?

Game of Thrones season 4 episode 2. Oh yeah baby; very nice ending.

True Detective; finished watching season 1. Very bleak and ending was a bit of a "cop" out.

I've just started watching the first season of 24. It is possible the most frustrating show I've ever watched, but I think that's what makes it good! Every episode finishes with questions no answers!

I've just started watching the first season of 24. It is possible the most frustrating show I've ever watched, but I think that's what makes it good! Every episode finishes with questions no answers!

When they started it was supposed to be in real time; which is why the first season starts slow. After season 1 they kind of forgot about the real time thing.

Still, worth sticking with until season 4 . A lot of people rate season 5 but personally I think that's when it gets stupid. Season 6 is universally panned and I agree it is just a rehash of all the other seasons and some pretty unbelievable plot devices.

Season 7 was good and then 8 well it starts strongly, then just gets stupid again by the end.

New season 9 is starting again soon; but this time I think there'll only be 12 episodes; so each episode covers 2 hours of real time.

I think the series was good for its time I.e. Early 2000s just after 911, but I think it's well past it now and should have been left to die a quiet death.

I thought purple wedding was a pretty silly name, to be honest. The whole rationale behind the red wedding is that there was red EVERYWHERE. Only a tiny part of this wedding was purple, on the other hand... Maybe if everyone had turned purple

I have not read the books, but I thought it was the fans that called it the purple wedding and it's apt because of the tiny part that turned purple is pretty significant.

Anyone watch Fargo last night.

Great episode very dark and slightly weird just like the film.

Didn't think I would like it as love the film and couldn't see it working but it could be a brilliant show, great casting Freeman was brilliant and Billy Bob Thornton was great.

Takes care of the days I don't tend to go out on.

Really good first episode, hoping it keeps up the pace. (I thought Freeman was doing a Canadian accent at first).

I actually envy you starting out on your Breaking Bad journey. I really miss that show. Hope Better Call Saul will be just as good when it comes out.

Anyway, when you finish all 5 seasons Youtube the 'Malcom in the Middle' Breaking Bad alternate ending. It's hilarious.
