What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Anyone watch Bojack Horseman? I found it in some sort of "Top XX" list so thought I'd give it a go. Apparently, it only really gets going in season 2, I really hope so, I'm really struggling with season 1. I'm assuaging my cartoon craving by re-watching Cleveland Brown instead at the moment.

"Autopsy" the last hours of.... on Netflix. Actually this is show that was shown on channel 5. Covers the death of quite a few celebs like Michael Jackson, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Heath Ledger, Whitney Houston, Robin Williams, River Phoenix etc. I thought it was pretty fascinating - learning how/why they died provided an insight in how they lived.

I enjoyed watching these when they aired, not that I can remember too many of the details any more. It's amazing how their pathologist draws such different conclusions to those who were involved at the time. Amazing that it hasn't lead to a lot of malpractice suits.

Yeh I talked about bojack about a month ago.

I really liked season 2 and 3, season 1 is so so gets better as goes on.

Yep I found the Forensic Pathologists reviewing and explaining the medical science which led to the deaths the most interesting. They're basing their opinion on the original autopsy findings. I found the Psychologists involved just plain annoying with their view points.

Can Malpractise suits be brought by the estate on the programme makers for an medical opinion/view point on the events leading to the death of celebs covered based on the the original autopsy? Plus you can't slander the dead. The only one I can think of which could lead to a suit is the O J Simpson episode when it pretty much accused O J's son as the probable culprit who carried out the double murder.

Is this Autopsy on netflix. I can't find it

It is on the UK one; not sure if Irish rights are the same, if that is where you're accessing it from. Try typing in Autopsy the last hours of in the search tool. If not, then try watching it via a VPN but select U.K. as your territory.

Failing that try YouTube there are episodes uploaded on there, but don't know how long they will be up there for due to lack of copyright. E.g. MJ one is there.

New series of Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia started last night and it's off to a....bizarre start

Really looking forward to this series, especially the fight milk one that has some ufc fighters in/part of it was filmed at a ufc weigh in

Thanks, I did search for "Bojack" and was pointed to this thread, but not to the specific mention of the search term. I'll persevere with it.

I wasn't so much thinking about the programme makers being sued as some medical practitioners whose care was brought into question. Like I say, it's a while ago that I watched them, and TBH it was post-pub viewing on a number of occasions, so details are pretty hazy, but I seem to remember the Joan Rivers episode pretty much saying that her death was avoidable.

In the Joan Rivers' case I think JR's daughter is bringing a suit against the Clinic who were negligent. But don't think that is on the back of this programme.

Dr Conrad Murray was jailed for 4 years in MJ's death but again not on the back of the programme.

In Marilyn's case the programme's pathologist concluded that in his opinion it was medical negligence of her Dr prescribing her two sedatives, knowing her past history of attempting to take her own life. But That Dr is probably long gone now.

Robin Williams had Lewy Body Dementia which on top of his Parkinson's indirectly led to his suicide. They didn't think even RW knew he had Dementia at the time. And only diagnosed when they looking at his brain after he died.

A lot of the other episodes involved celebs mixing their drugs either prescribed or not prescribed or a bit of both. So a lot really only had themselves to blame (Whitney, Heath Ledger and River Phoenix, Phillip Seymour Hoffman being prime examples).

Will be interesting what they find caused George Michael's death and also caused Carrie Fisher to have a heart sttack. I wouldn't be surprised if prescription drugs were involved.

Bosch on Amazon prime.

Top show IMO doesn't really get talked about Much.

About to start black sails now.

I liked the 'metal cutting jigsaw blades' episode, but wasn't too fussed on 'circular saw safety'.

Just watched the eddie hall documentary on Netflix "Eddie - Strongman"
Really enjoyed it

Meh - was ok... hardly Pumping Iron.
It's certainly not an Oscar winner but it's interesting
I didn't especially enjoy pumping iron, though, to be honest. Think it's really overrated (and I didn't watch it until very recently so hearing people rave about it for so long probably set me up for a let down)
Probably put the two on par

Sherlock was much more enjoyable this week. I liked the vastly different formula to what we've grown used to with the show and the acting was back to being superb. For the first time since Moriarty I found the antagonist genuinely intriguing. However the twist at the end just seems silly and soap-opera esque. Not a fan of that story line already.

Agreed on nearly every count. First time since the end of series 2 a Sherlock's had more good than bad.

It's still not the Sherlock of old though, the first two series are untouchable. It feels like the writers have torn apart their winning formula to play to Americans or something, or possibly the massive fandoms the show's built up. Tonight was notable for actually having some logic, detective, Sherlock stuff in it, instead of ridiculous twists, etc.
Back to square one with the ending though.

The OC = top TV, keep forgetting how old it is.

Watched it the other day again and still holds up. (#teamjuliecooper)

Growing up Neighbours and The OC taught up me all I needed to know about teenage struggles in other countries
