What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

As a connoisseur of crap, corny jokes, I did.

Has anyone seen the trailer for Mars on National Geographic, looks interesting if not an original idea. Should stress Ive not seen the Martian yet but would assume parallels between the two

Yeah, looks like it could be good.

The movie is great. It's not up there with Interstellar or Gravity(in my opinion), but it's close.

Gravity is more of a sensual experience than a movie.
Interstellar makes you think 'what if?'.
The Martian makes you laugh, think and wonder 'if people spent half as much money on an actual mission to mars, as they did on saving Matt Damon' then we'd already have towns there. :p

Oh, this was live earlier, but I haven't seen all of it. It's one of the National Geographic Photographers being interviewed. Say's a lot.

Anyone seen The Grand Tour yet? Thoroughly enjoyed it. A little surprised how similar a format it was to TG, but those three are great together! A little too much studio time in the middle, but overall solid first episode, and looks like there's better to come.

Watching it right now. I agree it's very similar to Top Gear, not entirely a great thing for me as I thought the format had become formulaic. I'll definitely give it more time and see how it develops.

I thought it seemed too scripted and the jokes too forced. None of the banter between the trio felt real, and that's the biggest appeal of the show. Hopefully that was just a first episode thing to get the main points introduced. And what was that bit with the celebs dying, did that make anyone chuckle? At all?

I enjoyed it. I guess that the 'celeb' part was probably subject to a legal threat or two, as in the format being too close to TG.
Couldn't stop smiling at the start when they all met up (although it was a 100 on the 'corny' scale, as was intended, no doubt)

WestWorld continues to be amazing.
Also, I'm fully addicted to reading the theories on the subreddit, they've pretty much predicted most things that have happened but not in a bad way - it doesn't feel like a spoiler, more of a "I ****ING KNEW IT" kind of thing. Adding a lot to the show, for me, tbh, they're finding so many things in episodes that I've missed and linking it all together.

Can't wait for the 90min finale but also not excited about waiting until 2018 for the next season.

Yep Westworld is currently confusing as all hell, but in a great way where if you analyse what's happen it's very possible to figure out. For instance it twigged with me today who the man in black is.

Bojack Horseman is a pretty damn good show IMO.

First half is season one its a bit mixed but starts to pick up from there and season 2 and 3 are great IMO.

Looks as if New Zealand has the advantage now.

NZ 386 & 134/1

Eng 441

Richardson 46* McCullum 72* in the second innings.

Does anyone else not like Tuffey or am the only one in my club. Performs at home but hes not to good away i feel, all though England would have the most similarist conditions to NZ in the world.

Tried season 1 and gave up found it a bit forced.

Tried Last Chance U too and it's a bit tough as again it more looking at any normal team than a story

The Grand Tour has been ok, although it really feels like in the first 2 episodes they ran out of material and so stretched some parts far longer than they should be to fill the gaps. Hopefully this will get better as the show develops. Planet Earth 2 though is amazing in every way, really takes off from Planet Earth 1 and goes up another notch. Amazing camera work and narration as always.

Planet Earth 2 has been declining pretty drastically since the first episode IMO. Still top quality, but they definitely peaked early with the lizards vs snakes scene. That was never gonna be beaten.

To be honest, it started with a 10/10. It's tough to improve on that one.

Incidentally, if Attenborough did the voice overs for Top G...I mean The Grand Tour, then it would possibly be the greatest TV experience of all time.

[Attenborough]And here we see the hairless orangutan attempt to assert it's dominance over the smaller male. It would be easier if he was not so baffled by the machine in front of him. Every so often, these fascinating creatures go on long, overland migrations spanning entire countries and even continents. The reason for this strange behaviour is currently unknown and it appears that the process is some form of competition between the males.[/Attenborough]
