What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Tough. It's going down hill now. The negan character is getting a bit comical now and his set up as leader of the survivors is full of holes. The sooner we have an all out war the better

Watched Band of Brothers again over the last few days. I can't get through a year without it. Best Television series ever in my opinion. Will give the Pacific a watch too but its pretty meh other than Rami Malek's brilliant performance.

Love how many British and Irish actors are in it.

Can't see ITBH verb being topped by another program really just perfect.

Hi ho silver

Designated Survivor is pretty good so far. Echoes of Homeland about it.

I'm actually watching the Pacific again now and I'm enjoying it alot more this time through.
But like you said Band of Brothers is the best television though what would think of the Pacific if they had made that first?

Have (either of) you watched Generation Kill?
HBO series of the beginning of the "Second Gulf War", or whatever it's labelled as these days.
It's nowhere near the level of Band of Brothers but still a very good series, and (as BoB is) based on a true story (the report in the series was a real reporter and it's based on his reportings).

I watched The Pacific and although it's not my kind of topic at all, I actually liked it a lot.

I did, but gonna watch it again. I thought it was slightly muddled and has fallen from the high standards set by the first 3 seasons. I also wasn't that impacted by the ending, thought it was a bit silly really.

Watched Sherlock again this morning. It did not get any better. My only thought is Mark Gatiss (Mylock) wrote this episode. Hoping Moffat writes the next one and is a lot better. Anyone else thought Freeman/Watson wailing at the end sounded more like he was constipated?

It felt awkward, as if someone had watched the previous seasons of Sherlock and tried to recreate it. The chemistry between the leads was no longer there and the plot was dumbed down to accommodate more action, which I am not a fan of. A lot of stuff felt forced, and although I liked her in the previous season, Mary's acting was dire, probably due to the more and more silly story she had to be part of. And regarding the ending, I didn't realise it was a Flash crossover episode.

I've been very negative but I do still enjoy it. Hopefully the episodes to come are better.

Edit: Agree Freeman's wailing was very odd.

*spoilers*

I'm glad to see the back of one character mind her entire reveal and story is actually where the show went a little downhill in my opinion.

didn't think the person brought much expect for a unbelievable story line.

As said the episode seemed very forced and lacking.

I didn't enjoy it very much either. Still much better than Doctor Who's Christmas special.

Sherlock defined "Meh" it wasn't good TV, but it wasn't bad either, just very substandard for the programme.

Speaking of Doctor Who i thought Sherlock had a very Doctor whoish feel to it in the way it was written and produced i thought snd i can't stand the new doctor who.

I haven't seen last nights Sherlock, but I think both shows have gone down the avenue of knowing the following they've attracted online, and are trying to do fan service way too much. I didn't really care for last season's Sherlock as much as 1 and 2, but still enjoyable. For a show that seemingly takes 3 years to produce per season lets hope they don't cock up.

"Autopsy" the last hours of.... on Netflix. Actually this is show that was shown on channel 5. Covers the death of quite a few celebs like Michael Jackson, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Heath Ledger, Whitney Houston, Robin Williams, River Phoenix etc. I thought it was pretty fascinating - learning how/why they died provided an insight in how they lived.
