What car are u driving ?

How about the older V6 Clio's? Not quite as bonkers, but available and for decent prices ~ £10,000.

Yeah not bad at all. I just love the idea that it looks like a golf and while they've got pretty good performance, it can go 200mph!

I'm only learning to drive at the moment and will be stuck in my parents Citroen C3 for a while.

Not a good time for new drivers atm with insurance prices on a never ending upwards trajectory. Sticking to driving your parents car is probably your best bet for a good while, unless you can afford the £1,500 insurance most new drivers have to pay for some cruddy 1.0L jobby.

I only got my first car aged 25. Before that I drove my parents cars (P rej diesel Rover 420 and a 2.8TDi Daihatsu Fourtrak, followed by another diesel rover 45 and a 2.5TDi Ford Maverick). I simply couldn't afford a car of my own, and once I moved to live in the centre of town I had no real need for one. I didn't really need my BMW when I got it, being in university, but I'd saved some money from working and decided it was a good time to get a car.

The insurance company's know the game. They look at stuff like where you live, what car you have, what your parents are like as drivers and even the colour of your car ! ;O

Such a stunning looking car. Driving at Goodwood this weekend, an even I've always wanted to go to

It took just four months to go from experimental sketch to fully-functional sports car, and Jaguar's F-Type-based Project 7 concept is now ready to make its dynamic debut at the Goodwood FoS on Friday. Under the watchful eye of Design Director Ian Callum, the Project 7, penned by Jaguar designer Cesar Pieri, is essentially a roofless F-Type sporting new D-type-inspired rear fairing with a rollover hoop, a lowered windshield, restyled front bumper and bespoke carbon-fiber elements including a front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, fixed rear spoiler, side louvres, and hood vents.

Dat engine noise

I have yet another project idea for the future, this time something a little less extreme than a full custom build.

I'm a fan of pick-ups, especially the Aussie Ute style ones, but there aren't any that particularly take my fancy. The old Ford P100 pick-up (which my dad owned a few of for using on the milk round years ago) look OK with Cossie gear, but are looking a little dated now.

A pick-up would also be perfect for taking my mountain bikes to the trails.

So the plan: take a BMW E46 330i touring, chop off 2/3s of the roof, weld up the rear doors, and custom fabricate the loading area in the back. I've done a quick photoshop mock-up of what it would look like:

Dullonien: Google Nissan NV Queencab, and that is what im driving atm. Its more of a practical motor for getting about if it rains and for shopping. Most of the time i'm on my Honda CRF250L.

Random late reply, but now I work for a car insurance company and can say they don't take the colour of the car into effect.

Pretty much everything else though

I'd love any of the following; a Unimog, G-wagen, Gullwing (old or new :p) or a new C-class. Yes, I am a Merc fanatic.

As for what am I driving; meh, a servicable VW polo- like every other 30 year old in SA LOL.
