Warm Up Match 7: Hurricanes v British & Irish Lions (Wellington)

((( I say this only in jest, please no anger react)))

Laidlaw has massive awareness issues, so often he loses track of where the ball is at the ruck (mainly because he's not looking for it) or what's actually happening at the ruck.

It's ******* maddening - just pay attention FFS!

I know he was a last minute call up and everyone maned about it devalueing the tour... But I would be happy for G Davies to come on at 9. So much better than Laidlaw.

Stephen Ferris is soooo hard for Rory Best. Every sentence in the last week he's mentioned how brilliant and sexy he is.

I'd pick Best FWIW, so not having a dig at him

To be fair Sean Fitzpatrick said he'd also pick Best to start the 2nd test.

That and being a natural winger; meaning he'd also have bough himself an extra metre of width on the pitch, and not having to worry about being bundled into touch.
He also wouldn't have let the AB's in for their try by positioning himself half way between the OC and the wide man... and failing to drift.

As if the AB's wouldnt be playing 10D interdimensional 20 steps ahead chess and already know this.

Don't think anyone has issue with Davies, he should've been ahead of Laidlaw.
It's when Cory Hilly gets his inevitable lions debut that makes me wanna spew.

Let's face it despite what NZ fans think, Aaron Smith isn't the only New Zealand player who cheats when he thinks no one is watching.

Nice to have a ref who actually refs both teams.
Smith does it very publically and then talks about it in front of the nation to be fair.

Biggar in for Saturday! Johnny B.Good, next year, in matches that matter because the coach of this international tour is offended by your nationality.

Russell's form deserved to get him on tour anyway so happy he is on. Hopefully he can run the show to get in the frame for the tests... maybe at least a bench spot.
