A Political Thread pt. 2

He didn't escalate or introduce any global conflicts while in office, and I consider his decision not to pull out of Afghanistan despite the economic advantage of doing so like Biden did, pretty responsible, especially after seeing the aftermath. It would have been easy to see that decision in dollar signs only.
I've already addressed this one with you, Trump DID pull out of Afghanistan. The withdrawal has been going on for months before Biden even took office and the Biden administration simply continued with the plans that were already well under way. In fact they tried to push back the withdrawal date because they knew it has been rushed. The US force in Afghanistan had already dropped to something like 10% of it's usual size before Biden even became president.

Please stop repeating this completely false narrative, it's not true.

Also listing the whole positives thing us a red herring. Himmler was a vegetarian and the Nazis drastically expanded German infrastructure. Stalin was reportedly very charming. Sometimes the positives pale in comparison.

Lying Ted Cruz ironically telling the truth by confirming what we all knew - that the tariffs are a tax on Americans even though Tangoman is attempting to blame almost 200 counties who have all been ripping off America apparently based on a bogus formula.

Imagine being so deluded and gullible that you swallow that and can't see a tax rise when it's staring you in the face.

Please pick out what was inflammatory, the fact that I said I didn't know what happened, that Brand had a lot of female attention, or that some people use these types of situations for nefarious reasons?

Please, go quote my inflammatory remarks!
It shows your ignorance and how rape works including the convictions rates and why victims are reluctant to go the police. The fact that Brand can attract females doesn't mean they can't say No.

And Hitler was tea total

BBC News - Israel admits mistakes over medic killings in Gaza

Given the frequency with which Israel has been attacking medical facilities and staff by claiming everything is Hamas, it's looking more like just a pack of lies to carry out war crimes.

Yeah you can't just keep saying "oops bombed a hospital again!"

This isn't all false, but you are proving my point. Scaling back and wholesale running off arming an entire country is crazy, and something Trump has stated he wouldn't do...

Also, the positives might pale in comparison, but they exist! Denying they exist is dishonest.

Trump's first term was not comparable to Himmler, or Stalin, in fact it wasn't even comparable to Bush's war crimes hahaha

No mate, what's dishonest is holding up these so called "positives" against Trumps's horrific rap sheet and going "but he doesn't drink alcohol bro" that's dishonest.

No one is saying his first term was like Hitlers or Himlers, you're making that up, we're highlighting the fact you can find anything nice about truly evil people and it doesn't come close to excusing their behaviour so it's a joke when you have a contrarian coming in and saying well hey guys, didn't you know that Donald Trump is actually a good dad who doesn't drink. Jesus.

This is non news. Trump has the exact same viewpoint, he wants zero tariffs with the EU lol.

I was half on board with this article, until they claimed Elon had lost billions of dollars because of these Tarriffs, which is a lie. Musk has lost 0 dollars, his asset value has reduced, but that doesn't mean anything yet until Musk makes a move.

Ultimately Musk agrees with Trump, there should be a zero tariff free trade agreement between EU and US, but that won't happen due to what Trump calls EU tariffs (which are really safeguards for EU citizens with regards to food and healthcare especially). Removing these would be disastrous for the continent, but that's what Trump wants (and if that gets what Musk wants he's on board too).

Another nothing article, even the Navarro comments, Musk has always been outspoken about academics talking business and economics without practical experience.

I've always wondered how there are such volumes of articles based on so little information available lol.

It is false and the fact you put laughing emotes to anything that contradicts you shows your whole "I'm being rational and seeing nuance" is just bullshit. You are being contrarian for the sake of it.

What Trump states he would or wouldn't do it meaningless at this point, the guy lies constantly and shamelessly. Trump may have said he wasn't going to do it but the reality is he WAS doing it. Actions matter more than words. The withdrawal plan was one that was formed AND APPROVED during the Trump administration.. There was a deadline for full withdrawal from Afghanistan already in place when Biden took over THAT TRUMP HAD APPROVED.

I don't deny they exist, I'm saying talking about someone being tee total is completely irrelevant and pales in comparison. You follow that up with a lie about Afghanistan and then praise operation warp speed whilst ignoring that his own advisors from the first term stated his constant denial and refusal to act in the early days is what led to the USA having the worst death rate from COVID in the developed world. The fact he attempted to act much later doesn't offset his refusal to act earlier which cost far more lives than warp speed saved. It's like saying after someone was involved in a high speed crash that a positive is they did try to brake at the last minute, which reduced the impact. That's not a positive in the context of they were already driving recklessly and caused a crash.

Talk aboutna tax rise, Starmer seems to be chomping at the bit to get his belly rubbed by Trump, him and Rachel from accounts are seemingly preparing a 180 on no tax hike claim in the UK (even though they have been doing so).

I said before for Trump's plan to work it needs the first domino to fall early, if that's Starmer I'll be fuming
