Strange to think that he's only now making the u20's level, especially since he's played and scored for the full team! Been on cracking form for Swansea RFC before he went off to the 7s Circuit so hope he does well for them!

Seems like Wales are also prioritising club rugby over U20 rugby, can't think of any other reason for the likes of Morgan to be unavailable.

Was looking at an old rugby world yesterday doing a feature on Pydie and Kristian Philips can anyone tell me whats happened to Philips?

Phillips has had injury problems. He's also struggled to move forward from the promise he showed a few years ago, and hasn't improved his key weaknesses, defense and decision making. Both Eli Walker and Hanno Disksen have leapfrogged him at the Ospreys, and I think he's destined for a career in the Premiership where he will score try's for fun, but will be unable to make the step-up to regional or international rugby.

Looking forward to seeing more of Luke Morgan. Plenty of gas, another who could try and fill the gap left by Shane.
I think Prydie is going to end up as a wing, over fullback. Ross Jones seems to be thought of as the next fullback, and has been in good form for Bridgend there. Prydie is picked at wing for Swansea RFC continually, so I am not sure if they just see him as a wing.

Some really good players in that squad ... Myhill, WillGriff John, Samson Lee, Screech, Rheon James, Cory Allen, Prydie and Ross Jones

There is an outside chance of Rhodri Williams, Matthew Morgan, Eli Walker and Harry Robinson being involved in the full Welsh squad.

Robinson is on the sevens circus, but it wouldn't surprise me if he is in the wider training squad or something like that.
Isn't Jonathan Gardiner the turk that went to Leicester?

Jonathan Evans is a good young player. If he wasn't injured this year, he would be ahead of Evans/Bedford. So would many players, but still...

Allen was a fullback in the Under 18s, I guess Cardiff switching him to 13 is a full time switch then (Like Roberts, I suppose). He is a big lad and has partnered Owen Williams in midfield when Williams isn't doing sevens.
Sam Davies (ap Nigel) is supposedly a good one, I wonder if they will play Jordan Williams at 15 or 12 to start Sam as they did in the U18's.

Perhaps Dan Biggar is in the main Wales squad and Ospreys have requested (if they can do that?) Morgan isn't named so that they can have him at 10 through the Six Nations?
Or Morgan could even be named in the Wales squad - it's a long shot but North and Prydie were both younger than him.

I think the likes of Nipper and Robinson were left out so they would have a chance of some gametime with their clubs. Patchell, Robinson, et al, are part of the sevens, but they could do with some time for the Blues.
