U20 6 Nations 2017- Stars of the Future: If there's grass on the pitch play ball

Nope, not allowed.

its on sky mix though.

Kyle Eastmond's been poached.

I hope Fartass who garabbed a brace against us tonight becomes a world superstar, would really attract a lot of interest from outside of rugby strongholds where English is spoken.

Great Welsh performance last night, 65-34 away in freezing conditions. A few excellent performances namely Kieran Williams and Ben Jones. Disappointing to concede so many points but when you're so far ahead you can afford to have lapses in concentration. A performance like that against England the other week would surely have beaten them. I really don't see anyone beating England now though

Just to add, something I didn't mention at the time, that Rory Brand looked very good when he came on... the little midget James O'Connor.

I've seen highlights of his before, but his passing looked crisp, and he used his step a couple of times.

Despite looking like a perfect example of a Home Counties Private Schoolboy and playing for LI, I was surprised to find out he's actually from Wigan!

Will be a tough ask for us. We have most of our best guys fit and available (bar Lyttle maybe), but I can't help but feel most of the talent lies in the backs, and our pack just don't have the professional conditioning, size and ability to scrum like the Welsh and English guys of their age. Maybe we win it though. I can say with confidence the English will stroll to an under 20 grand slam. Just hope we give a good account of ourselves after we had the world's second best 20s side last year.

I'd heard big things about Alex, but never seen him play. Sale fans have a tendancy to talk up amateur players at their local clubs (the way Sam James' little brother is being bigged up atm you'd think he's the new Ringrose :p )

To be fair to James (Mitchell) he's had a couple of decent performances this season, when Stringer was out injured. Think he was just bigged up a bit too much because he was part of a successful u20s side, whereas he wasn't ready for senior rugby yet.

Was that another MOTM by Curry? Didn't see the game but saw someone say it on twitter, not sure if it was just hyperbole or he actually got it.

The Wales/Ireland game tonight was a cracker won by the home side by 41-27.

Didn't pay too much attention to the Welsh players but one stood out a mile as the best player on the pitch. Kieran Williams was sensational.

For Ireland, Jordan Larmour and Caelan Doris were fantastic. Charlie Connolly has come from nowhere to impress at tighthead too. It's maybe not Ireland's most talented team at this level but you could still pluck 8-10 players who'll go on to have good careers.

Zach Mercer has been good enough to completely ruin this tournament for everyone else. I hope he's pleased with himself.

Send him to the JWC, with all the other good players, and let them experience the heat of a knock out tournament against the top opposition.
