U.S.A. vs. Canada. RWCQ 1st leg, 17/08/13

"He's...err...very experienced in talking to referees."
That's one way of describing Jamie Cudmore

HAHAHA Pritchard and Evans trying to run a maul there...that was a bit of a cock up...

Edit: Ardron's worst game in the colours so far? Knock on's galore and obstruction on the called back try..

This is ridiculous!!! Never seen play carry on so long after a whistle LOL, think the conditions are a slippery mess out there, it's high humidity and a wet pitch, super muggy.

Edit: I know canadfan but just making the point that there had been more than one decent play....will take a 13-0 half time lead.

Canada still look more structured and seem to have more ideas just our passing isn't on the mark. U.S. look clueless.

No idea how you can play for a solid minute after the whistle is blown...

Anyways, despite the fact that Canada hasn't played overly well, they have to be pleased with the score. I've been impressed with how Tiedemann has acquitted himself in the scrum so far, he looks like he's trying to prove something. Ardron will need to play better in the second half and Evans needs to watch the unforced errors too.

Mack has to be man of the match so far too.

Pritchard 3-3 and Wyles 0-2 also a difference. Canada just need that extra little pass, we have the deeper bench as well. I'd like to see Barkwill on soon and maybe even Hotson or Dala on for Ardron.

Agree CDN, and with White playing better and in reserve it looks like SH is sorted, Jones may want to speed up the ball a little, though we are in control andin the lead so maybe it's not a good time to take risks. This is essentially the Quarter time of a 160 minute game.

This. So far they haven't had any imagination and have continued to try the exact same thing. Not overly difficult for the Canadian defence to stop.

B.S. obstruction call that led to the second try being called back too.

Right now I would only take Hearn off, move DTH to centre and mackenzie on to the wing.

I was thinking the same thing. Barkwill and Dala should come on around 50. If the backline continues with unforced errors, maybe bring on Mackenzie for Hearn (who has been fine btw) and shift DTH back to 13. If things are looking good at 65, it wouldn't hurt to bring on Hotson to rest Cudmore.

EDIT: Need to improve our takes on the restarts as well.

Wow Hotson on as well for Cudmore.
