Good to see more and more familiar names in the sides these days - always like seeing NA players in Europe.


Realistically are these two games "dead rubbers", in that both Canada and USA are going to qualify, and these are just used to determine the order in which they're seeded (or whatever it's called)?
Have to admit I'm not up to date with the qualification process/how teams are doing/likely to do etc.

To an extent, but I think the America's #1 team gets a bit of an easier pool...and once your in your in. Trips to Montevideo are easier said than done as well especially in March/April when our pro's won't be available.

Edit: Olly is it possible that we can NOT qualify it's just extremely unlikely, the loser of these two has to lose to Uruguay and even than still has the repechage round.
